Visited Pamplona during San Fermin — I thought it was hard to find peaceful place to have dinner near the main city, let alone to find a decent tasting food! This was a great find in the middle of all the partying — not too far from the city center, it has decent paid public parking spots around.
We ordered Ensalads de Tomate al Modena (basically tomatoes with Modena’s blasamic vinegar) and that was really good made with fresh ripe tomatoes.
I absolutely loved — Ajoarriero — it was loaded with fresh seafood, mildly spicy and very flavourful dish.
In the end I ordered Leche Frita (fried milk which is very similar to flan), i love this dessert anywhere :)
I shared the food with my husband and the entire shared course was very fulfilling for both of us.

The food was tasty, great customer service. I went on a Saturday night and the menu of the day/night was 16 euros. I love the cheesecake! A very relaxed place to have lunch/dinner.

We were visiting Pamplona for just one night and wanted somewhere that was close with good reviews. This is the place, the owner and his wife are great!
We both did the menu del día. First course we had a mixed salad with tuna and chorizo. Second course we had the chicken and steak, they were both cooked perfectly. For the dessert course he brought out the leche de oveja that was absolutely divine.
This place is very reasonably priced for a gourmet meal, I will be going back if I ever make it to Pamplona!

After days if eating while standing at tapas bars we were eager for a sit down meal. Asador El Pilon had good reviews and it did not disappoint. We did not have reservations but that did not dissuade the hostess/waitress. She set up a beautiful table for us outside complete with tablecloth. She patiently explained the menu and offered suggestions. Everything was visually appealing and tasty. The € 16 menu was more food than we could eat. I had the «chuleton de vaca» with fries and it was delicious.
I rate based on my expectations.
