Café Suizo is located right on the Paseo de Pereda, which is awesome because there are great views of the bay from the front windows, but that’s all it has going for it.
It’s frequented mostly by older, retired women who nurse their coffee for hours and monopolize the tables.
And God forbid you decide to sit upstairs. The assaulting stench of unfortunate bathroom misadventures will surround you and force you to leave. If you think i’m exaggerating, I encourage you to check it out.
The waitstaff is old and cold, and there is no wifi. It’s a frustrating endeavor to even pay your bill; the waitstaff has an air of arrogance about them.
I can truly say, it’s one of the only places that I will avoid in Santander.
