Like most people have said, the best part about the hotel is its central location and gorgeous views. I had a room on the 7th floor and it had a huge balcony with payout chair/beds. It is also very gay and right within walking distance of the gay area. The down sides are no king beds(only 2 twin beds pushed together), uncomfortable non-padded beds, thin walls, and cheap linens. For the price, I expected a more comfortable bed. Just don’t expect luxury when booking this hotel.

This hotel has a perfect location by the sea, only one street to cross and very close to the many restaurants of Sitges. The rooms are rather comfy and clean. It’s worth paying an extra to get the sea view, although some«mountain view» ones are good as well. The breakfast is amazing, with a huge variety of Spanish and continental food. And if you sit by the window you can enjoy the view. The staff is very nice and helpful.

See those chairs in the main picture for this hotel… they are NOT comfy. They are plastic instruments of hell. OK not quite but a couple of scatter cushions does not make them any better. The rooms are comfy enough though although I really do get tired of booking a double and being given a twin. I know you can push the beds together but it’s really NOT the same. I also dislike showers in baths so powerful they soak the bathroom(that little glass divider may look prettier than a shower curtain but it does not do a good job). This hotel is pricey in comparison to others but it’s all about location, location, location when I take D on holiday. The beach is literally across the streets and it’ll take less than 5 minutes to reach the main bars and restaurants in the most touristy area of town.

Hotel Calipolis was a great find in the beach town of Sitges. The hotel is located across the street from the Mediterranean Sea. Great views from the balcony. The lobby is airy and welcoming. The sitting area is a little uncomfortable. The lime green chairs are large and plastic with silver pillows. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are spacious. The beds are the European twin beds but very comfortable. Since I was traveling with friends, we were able to have connecting rooms which was a great plus. The pool was also a great feature of this hotel. The location is a HUGE plus! You are just across the street from the sea. You are within walking distance of the shopping and tourist distinctions. Sitges is roughly 30 minutes outside of Barcelona. You can either take a taxi or a train from Barcelona. Both are very convenient. The hotel itself is probably a 3 star. I would highly recommend this hotel. Check it out!

Doesn’t deserve its 4 stars. Hotel room had cheap plastic chairs you would expect at a beach cottage, and floors were tiled, no carpet. High rates(due to beach-front property). Tiny pool and small outside patio. Breakfast okay, but overall service low. Catered lunch for business meeting was overpriced, but cheap and not enough for the agreed number of guests. On check-out they refused to put the business address on the bill without having the matching tax number(even though paying with personal credit card). Only plus is the location.
