THIS is what I love about Prague. A non-descript little pub, half a step below street level. Room for about two dozen thirsty souls. A bit of blues or jazz tinkling over the speakers. Dim, red lights. And never ending beer and booze. Perfection. We just stumbled in here after hours, as everything else in Nove Mesto seemed to shut down prior to 2am. The beer was cheap and the crowd was happy and drunk. This is the beauty of Prague: you don’t seek out the hot joints, you just follow the sound of music and the dim red lights until you find your home on an empty stool. Great find. I hope I stumble my way back here before too long. And I hope you do the same.
