Very comfortable vegetarian restaurant in the centre of Prague. You can eat some fresh food that I personally can eat every day. The quality is very stable so you can go for daily lunches and enjoy it every time(even though the tastes repeat a lot). Everything is quite heavily spiced so if compared to Country Life — this is definitely for people that don’t mind quite outstanding tastes. Recommended for regular meals.

The dahl was good, but that was about it. It must have been right after a rush when I went there because the pickings were slim. I’m glad that I only took small amounts onto the metal prison tray(haha Andy L.) There are many other ways to clean out your intestines…

The reason I only give this place an A-ok was because although it was good, it was cold. Personally I hate cold food. I understand this was a buffet, but come on people, ever heard of heat lamps? Also they weren’t replacing food one it was running out as if to say«oh well there isn’t anymore of this dish so take something else» and it isn’t like there are 20 dishes to choose from to begin with… there was only tomato and lentil soup, one curry, some white rice, one pasta with veggies dish and little fried croquettes of veggies and potato. As you can imagine, one dish running out only makes my life more difficult since that was what I really wanted. They also take crowns as well as Euros for anyone that has not changed all their money yet. They do have a nice clean bathroom, so this is a plus in this particular area. They also have a lot of seats and are not quick to rush you out which is also nice I think. Overall maybe I would go back once I knew when they put out the fresh food…

Beas was another restaurant I visited twice. Their specialty is vegetarian indian food offered buffet style. You pay by the weight and it’s 50% off 1 hour before closing time. They offer naan, curries, rice, samosas, pudding, fruits and more. My personal highlights were the samosas, the dhal, and halvah. There is so much variety and everything is guaranteed fresh and boasts healthy origins. By the way, those were very helpful photos. You had to go around construction no matter which direction you came from. It’s also relatively close walking distance to the Old Town.
