Schnelle Bedienung und sehr freundlich. Essen sehr lecker. Preis gerechtfertigt. Ein gelungener Abschluss nach dem shopping day

We chose this restaurant based on the great reviews and proximity to our hotel. We were not disappointed. It is a large restaurant with great brick walls and ceilings, a lot of character. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly. We started with the bean soup and a bread basket. Thick and delicious, full of beans and meat. It was a lot of soup. I had the gulasch which was absolutely fantastic. The meat was really tender and in a flavorful sauce. It can with a really tasty grilled sausage on the top; overkill but that didn’t slow me down. Then there were some amazing potato pancakes, really crispy with tons of flavor. We also had the ribs which we did not enjoy and the only reason I couldn’t give them 5 stars. The meat was dry and the sauce was odd and sparse. Many of the pieces were majority fat/unedibles. The cabbage that came with it was decent but not enough to salvage the dish. The menu is large and impressive with all of the classic Czech dishes you’d look for. I really enjoyed this restaurant and would recommend to anyone visiting Prague.

This is hands down the best meal my family and I had in Prague. It is probably the best meal I ever had in my life… which is something the 3 of us agreed upon. Wow! Talk about savory heaven! Czech food, based on this restaurant alone, has left me with a lasting… longing impression. I wish I could remember what I ordered. It was some kind of tiny gnocchi in a white cream sauce which kind of resembled a white macaroni & cheese. We were a little skeptical when we first walked in because it just looked like a smokey bar but when you walk to the back room you see a full dining area. I recommend a reservation as this restaurant is very popular. The servers were actually very friendly as well… making great recommendation. We had some yummy unpasteurized beer and a traditional Czech cocktail called Beton, try it!

I was visiting Prague for a few days and saw this restaurant in the top recommendations and it happenned to be right across from the hotel we were staying at. The food was fantastic and it does feel like a local place. One important thing… when I went on October 2015 people were allowed to smoke inside. For nom smokers this might be very important. I was with four other people and were able to handle it but at the end just wanted to get out and breathe fresh air. We had for appetizer a fried goat cheese and sausages. And for main course: pork schnitzel with potato salad, goulash with pancakes, pork pieces with sour craw and a variety czech dumplings and the pork ribs(which were falling out of the bone). Overall great experience, the smoking was the only bad thing. Price: really good price. Dinner for 5, including two appetizers and a bottle of wine was about 85 euros.

Very good food for meat dish lovers. Authentic local food, good and fast service. And very good quality&price. Smooth athmosphere. Really worth of every penny.

Bredovsky Dvur is definitely more on the touristy side of restaurants, but the food is solid. The Mexican burger was flavorful(albeit messy to eat), and the 12 hour roast pork was extremely tender and had a spicy cole slaw that paired it well. I wouldn’t recommend the apple strudel. It was extremely hot and it seemed like they had just defrosted it or something. But I mean I really wanted dessert at the time so it tasted fine. The food took a very long time to come out, and similarly it took a long time to order, get the bill, etc. Prices are in the same range as other restaurants in the area, mains ranging from $ 6 — $ 11.

Good food and drink at a very reasonable price — service also good. Recommend the wild boar and goulash and the red cabbage. Overall excellent!

I read about this place on a travel blog and was praying it would be as good as I read! Very cool underground vibe open kitchen(you can watch the chefs passionately playing your food). We ordered the steak with jalapeño sauce, bean soup with meat and cheese, and a side of garlic mashed potatoes! All I can say is I’ve eaten food in 20 countries and THIS place is amazing!!! 2 beers, glass of wine, lg bottle of water, and food was a very modest $ 25 U.S. !

This is definitely a place that is designed for, and runs on, tourists. But I will forgive that because the deer dish I had was absolutely delicious. Even if it did come with clearly store-bought defrosted hashbrowns. The staff were nice, spoke English relatively well, the service was quick and the food decently priced(although I would expect a bigger portion of food for the price I paid, in a regular Czech restaurant). Overall a cozy place to have dinner and I wouldn’t be against going there again.

Awesome place with good traditional food and local beer. Prices are also very low. I highly recommend to try a boar or a deer dish.

Insgesamt 516 Kronen = 18,58 Euro. Lecker und(für deutsche Verhältnisse) sehr günstig.

After traveling all day, I wanted food near my hotel on Wenceslas Square. Two right turns brought me here. A group that came in after me was seated before me(a practice I’ve always found annoying, regardless of the country), and I was directed to the bar. The food is great, especially if you love meat, and the beer flows freely. It’s apparently a dog-friendly place, as I found a very large, quiet German shepherd at the next table. The staff manages at least a little English, and I left 90 minutes after walking in feeling very satisfied.

Food here was great! We had half a roasted duck, ribs and goulash between 4 of us with plenty to go around. Duck was really well cooked, moist and tasty. Ribs also fantastic. The goulash was my first in the Czech Republic so maybe my expectations were not correct, but it was more like some beef with lots of gravy. We filled the last of outlets tummy space with apple strudel which was ok but not amazing. And of course good beer throughout! People do smoke in here if that’s something you don’t like. But otherwise we thought it was a lovely find for good Czech food in generous portions.

For me this is a typical Czech restaurant that is ok but nothing special. It is definitely due to the fact that I am not a big fan of the heavy Czech meals neither I am any beer drinker. If you do, however, feel like having some proper Czech meal and a cold beer for reasonable prices in the centre, this is a good choice.

We ate half a duck, that was very good, well cooked, typical Czech cuisine but expensive. They allow smoking inside, so you can eat a delicious meal with cigar smoke taste :( Not nice that the waiter remembered us that«tip is not included in the bill». Do they say that also to Czechs?(I’m a tourist in Prague)

The exterior of bredovsky dvur is unassuming, but take the initiative to walk through the door and you’ll feel a definite Prague vibe. The interiors feel old world with exposed brick, and the green glow of Urquell beer emanates from behind the bar. We ordered a lunch special; it was pork and dumplings and the waiter was nice enough to translate a few menu items for us so we could order. The meal was tasty and for about $ 13USD for two, it didn’t disappoint! Since bredovsky is right across the street from our hotel, we might end up at the bar to drink a few beers later.

Nice restaurant ! 2 huge rooms marvelously decorated, noce vaulted celings, Wood and stone decoration, candle-lit ambiance. The menu is composed by various typical czech dishes that are very tasty and hearty, moreover dishes are cheap: around 6−8EUR. Beer is around 1,5EUR I used to go there everytime I went in Praha!

Can only recommend this place! Whenever I’m in Prague I eat here at least once. Spare ribs are gigantic, so are most of the dishes. And really fair prices. Service is fast and location couldn’t be better or more central. A must-go when in this beautiful city! One negative point is that you cannot make a reservation and that waiters are usually quite unfriendly when you arrive. Service in general could be friendlier.
