One of my most favorite coffee places in Prague. It is an amazing choice for any occasion, whether it’s lunch, romantic dinner, relaxed coffee or wine with a friend. I do come here every week sometimes even a couple of times and I have never been disappointed. The owner is very often present himself and so you can be sure that the service as well as food is going to be of the best quality. I love their pasta, salads, cakes as well as wine. They also know how to prepare perfect meet… simply anyone can select what they like the best :)

The staff was very nice and polite albeit one of the girls was probably quite new to the waiting job. The horrible part was a so called«American Breakfast» for 270czk which looked more like a really bad joke with its one egg, two tiny and below-average sausages and the worst part: a bowl filled with the cheapest canned beans you can find in every discount store. There was also a very mediocre orange juice in the American Breakfast, which was by the way the most expensive breakfast they have. The green tea was Julius Meinl premium brand and tasted really good.

Breakfast here with my mom. Good latte. I think we got the bad luck of a waitress who couldn’t speak English well. Some misunderstanding with the order and she brought 2 scrambled eggs instead of one. I had the pancakes and apparently they don’t give syrup with the dry pancakes here. Only a small amount of syrup in between the 2 pancakes. My moms scramble eggs were good. After messing up our order, we were ignored for the rest of the time.

café is dim for remote laptop working conditions. wifi is open without password so it can be slower than norm at times. food was a decent 4 stars but portions could have been greater — but then again, everything could be supersized as an American

Restaurant Café Calore get the best reviews from my wife and I. The food is very good. The restaurant owner Martin is on the top of the game. We both believe that this place deserves 4,5 stars rating. The prices are reasonable. The service is very good. Everybody is smiling and accommodating. There cakes and coffee is on the highest level. You can definitely go there and most likely not to be disappointed. Lana & Sam.

After many Czech food like Goulash and dumpling I wanted something different and ended up here. Ordered the chicken Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It is excellent! Having had schnitzels in Austria and Germany I must say this place is also very good. Best is that you have the choice of chicken pork or veal. Highly recommended

Bit fancier café/restaurant right in the centre, and hence quite popular with tourists. The selection is quite good; you can drop by for a small bite or have a proper dinner. The salads and sandwiches are very tasty and the cake selection is mouth-watering. I also very much like the service here, has been perfect every time! It does get quite busy in the evenings and during weekends, so might be good to make a reservation.

So this place had good reviews and I was in the area so I wanted to try it out. Upon entering it was just a whole bunch of red Color everywhere. Staff was nice and accommodating, however I did have to wait forever to pay once I wanted to leave. I don’t like that much. I got a ginger tea here which was made with fresh ginger but packaged and presented in a pretty non efficient way so you had to pick out the ginger if you didn’t want to eat it. I thought for the type of café this was they could have had a better way to deal with that. Their food however was worth the trip, hot fresh croissants and fruit were delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and they warn you ahead if you have to wait at all for your fresh meal. I thought that was smart at the least. Overall I got a huge touristy vibe here even though I was speaking Czech and that alone does not make me want to go back to a place here. I would say this café is okay but not the best by any means.

We’ve been to the Prague twice in the last year and Café Colore has been the way we have started each day. Their coffee is great, the service fast and friendly and the food good. It’s a nice place to sit, relax use the wifi and get ready for your day. We have three small children and there is enough room for us and the pram! Btw the hot chocolate is fabulous! Thick and decadent!

So I finally came back here today. Today was also a national holiday in Prague so I was pretty stoked to see this place was actually open which was nice. My friend and I were looking for a place to study/eat so we decided to check this place out. We got collectively, a hot chocolate, latte macchiato, prosciutto/other assorted hams panini, chocolate cake with banana, regular chocolate cake, and truffle fries with parmesan. The truffle fries were definitely the highlight for me – very delicious. But everything else was meh. The chocolate cake was actually relatively disappointing. The cake slice was gigantic, but the raspberries were really quite too tart and the icing was way too sweet and gave my friend a headache. So two issues I had. The first one was the cost was quite high… now this is too be expected in Wenceslas Square. But what I didn’t expect was this extra 20% tax that got tagged onto our meal that really increased the price. Maybe there is just some state tax that we weren’t aware of… but this was surprising and made the bill a lot more unbearable. The other thing was it felt like the waiter constantly wanted to shoo my friend and I out. This would make sense if they were super crowded and didn’t have any other seats, but there were definitely enough empty tables, and we saw a number of other parties that had just been sitting there for as long as we had perhaps even longer, so that was a little irritating. tldr; all in all, a decent experience that comes at a high price that I think can be easily mimicked and found elsewhere in Prague with better quality

A pretty nice café in the centre of Prague with cosy interior design and mild light. The desserts won’t be all among my favourites, however, their cakes are big and tasty. They have an interesting choice of drinks including many types of Julius Meinl coffee and tea and my very-much liked hot apple and hot pear juices with flavourings. I wouldn’t say it’s a very suitable place if you’re going for a proper dinner, because I was never satisfied enough with the main course. They make soups, salads, pasta, meat and fish, and also offer a seasonal menu like for St Martin’s Day or Christmas. The service is good, and the place is usually busy in the evenings, so better to make a reservation.

Comfortable place. A bit expensive. Free wifi and also plugs available if needed. A bit outside the central plaza, which makes the place less crowded. Ok service

Found this place on TripAdvisor that seemed like a great place for breakfast/brunch. The place is modern looking and it would be good to reserve ahead of time as it got really busy with a lot of spots reserved. Their breakfast didnt turn out to be all that great. The omelette was way to salty and their freshly squeezed orange juice was lukewarm and small portioned. Nevertheless if you veer away from the breakfast the food is quite amazing. I started with a traditional czech soup called kulajda(dill mushroom and potatoes) and then had the chanterelle mushroom ragout with fried veal cutlets on the top. It was so good. I usually hate carrots but i ate all the carrots in the ragout cuz it was that tasty. It seems more like a local café than a tourist joint as a lot a of locals are doing work and business there. There is free wifi but it’s not very stable.
