Bester Kaffee den wir in Prag hatten. Sehr edles gemütliches Ambiente. Bagle mit geräuchertem Lachs super lecker. Sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Bedienung super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wer Kaffee liebt muss hier her kommen.

This place has the best coffee and breakfast in Prague. If I could, I would eat here every morning! I’d recommend the orange juice, coffee, trout salad, poached eggs on cornbread, and crème brûlée!

Ive been here a few times. Its great for a date, a dinner with your parents, yes I brought my mother, and a quiet laid back evening with lovely wine and great food. Im a fan of the coffee. It gets crowded for brunch at the weekends and dinner at weekends also. Especially in peak season as its on Unilocal and here and to be honest its too touristy for my liking. Ive eaten lunch and dinner here and by listening to my friends and the reviews breakfast is good but there can be a queue of up to 30 minutes of people waiting outside. People are commenting about it being good value but for people working locally on the average Czech salary it is not good value and I dont typically like places locals cannot afford and dont frequent. The food however is excellent. and I like this area and stay here often so as its so close its convenient. If I wasnt close I wouldnt make a special trip. That being said Im in town again in 3 weeks and have a reservation for a business meeting as my hotel is 3 minutes walk from here. the mood is usually quiet and intimate. So will I return yes probably but Prague is full of fabulous restaurants so only if its convenient.

The breakfast menu might not be the biggest, but what is on there is simply amazing. The coffee comes from a roastery in Berlin and results in very tasteful coffee.

Wonderful breakfast. I ordered the bagel with smoked salmon. The bagel was fresh and toasted with seeds. The cheese was soft and fluffy. It came with a lettuce salad, thinly sliced onions and perfectly ripe tomato slices. The capers were huge and excellent, reminded me of the ones I had on Santorini. Croissants with butter and jam were great. My BF also ordered the smoked trout over scrambled eggs with chives and little baked potatoes. Our cappuccino grandes were both works of art. The dining room was elegant and quiet and English was no issue at all.

In two days we went to this place four times! This is how great it was… The coffee is just amazing, probably the best in Prague, at least the best we tried. Just a note, this is not your average nespresso, this is coffee from an excellent Barista, who will make you one of the best lattes of your life. Including beautiful latte art. We also tried the cakes, very nice not too sweet just perfect. Also very nice lemonade, good snack food. Service was very friendly, quick and skilled. So I would everybody recommend this place for breakfasts, lunch, or dinner. It is not the cheapest place in Prague but very good value for the price. Just a warning prices are more central European, not cheap Eastern, but in return you get the quality you expect for that!

Geheimtipp in Prag!

Best breakfast of our vacation. Interesting food combinations that were the perfect portion sizes. Great coffee too on the extensive coffee menu. We did make reservations for the first seating at 9 on a Sunday morning as recommended. There were still some tables free. The Art Nouveau vibe is cool and not overdone.

Went here early in the morning looking for breakfast at 7am before visiting the castle and was pleasantly surprised. Really fresh and unique breakfast dishes. Try the toast with poached egg and asparagus:) Desserts good too.

The café is clean and well styled. The waitress is friendly. However the espresso tastes awful(i can honestly say i have never tasted a worse coffee in my life). We ordered an omelette and a pair of sausages, we waited 45 min. until the food arrived to our table. I strongly suggest avoiding this café.

I’ve been here once for a breakfast in a large group of friends and can easily recommend it but you probably will not wow. There are better places. This has got a traditional interior a yard and fine coffee. From I’ve been told I wouldn’t head here for a different meal necessarily. Also because the place is somewhat cold overall.

A nice, elegant café with small courtyard and fantastic selection of coffee brewing methods and elegant espresso drinks. The croissant and three eggs in a glass were fantastic!

This Place really is amazing! It was THE best place to have our final breakfast in Prague, and what a standout. The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere lets you be completely at ease in your surroundings. This is definitely a must for coffee connoisseurs, the options are endless. not only can you choose from several different beans, you also had the option of enjoying said bean in various different ways. You also get a most delicious little biscuit on the side. As recommended by the most wonderful staff, we decided on the Kenyan, prepared via Syphon. It was to die for! We enjoyed the Eggs Florentine and the Club Sandwich?(will double check this). Both of which were extremely fresh and full of flavour. To end(and we were very reluctant for there to be an end at all) we each enjoyed a cup of freshly brewed tea(fresh ginger for him and the blood orange for myself) and ordered a large heart shaped linzer/jam biscuit to go. If i were to return to Prague, this would be my first stop FULLSTOP PS.Just make sure to reserve a table a day or so in advance. Its a cosy place with only so much space.

Great breakfast in a beautiful setting. Breakfast is served normally until 11 and you usually need a reservation during weekends as the place is packed. The service is often very slow and not especially eager, but the omelette, pan fried eggs and eggs florentine are worth it.

This place is good for breakfast food and coffee however, the service is lacking and I think that’s because it’s always super crowded in the mornings. Management might want to consider hiring more staff for those busy morning/afternoons. My friend and I came here two mornings in a row for breakfast/brunch. Both times the place was super packed so we waited about 20 mins and had to sit outside. The patio area is actually really nice as long as it’s not too cold out. Their menu says that they can make any coffee decaf but when I asked, the waitresses kept saying they either didn’t have it or that it’s unnatural in addition to making up a ton of excuses. I ended up just ordering the cappuccino and latte. Both were delicious, nothing like coffee in the U.S. I was a little upset that I couldn’t get it decaf though but I let that go. The smoked salmon bagel was good. good portions. The second time, I tried their eggs Benedict and it was not very filling. The English muffin was more of the center cut out of a slice of bread. It was very tiny and left me still hungry. The poached egg was done very well though. I probably wouldn’t order this again. The all american breakfast my friend got was HUGE! I bought a box of their cookies which were half dipped in chocolate as a souvenir for my bf. They were delicious dipped with coffee. Service was very slow and we waited quite a while to order/get our food/get our check. Overall, I would come back here if I was I visiting Prague again. It’s certainly a very cute place to have breakfast!

Very nice café. The best we’ve visited in Prague. Also very nice staff and service. Coffee — reminds me of a café in Los Angeles Food — very good and unique. But not too unique to be weird Space — two smallish rooms. Very nice atmosphere. Reservations — recommended for busy times. We went at 11 and got a table without one. Times — breakfast to 11am, 12 on weekend

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Prague for three reasons: the food, the coffee and the coffeeshop ambiance! The coffee gives any pretentious SF or Brooklyn brewhouse a run for its money. They serve up quality beans via pour over, chemex, espresso machine and french press, providing you with a little slip of paper with their shop logo on in for tasting notes(which was insanely cute). We dashed in here for dinner one night and were whisked to our table, as the waiter informed the kitchen would soon be closing. They quickly took our orders and brought them out lickety split. I loved my quinoa salad and a Czech orange wine(which I had to try, because: orange wine?). It was a bit sweet so my buddy finished it off for me. It’s made with orange rinds in the barrel at some stage of aging. We had to get coffee and dessert, since it was so highly recommended. We had a tasty chocolate torte and were presented with a beautiful coffee service. It was such a nice last minute find for dinner I came back in the late afternoon another day to enjoy a leisurely coffee — the chemex was completely sans acid and divine! — while I waited to go to a performance that evening. The ambiance is a really nice vestige of the café culture that was so common in this region before it went all commie. Lovely dark wooden tables, mood lighting, and art nouveau finishes here and there match with the posters and drawings from the same period on the walls. I highly recommend this place for dinner when you just can’t have another bowl of goulash and want something modern or for a stop-in for a coffee.

Wow! We had been told this place had great coffee but I must say, the restaurant service is top-notch as well! We showed up on a Saturday around 8.30pm without a reservation and got a table as some people were leaving. It wasn’t crowded, but all the tables were taken. Even so, the mood in there was quiet and intimate, which went nicely with the sober décor. The food menu was very interesting, a nice mix of Czech food and Modern European styles. We tried some starters and the mains, they were absolutely delicious! I did not expect such sophisticated and well presented dishes at those prices, so this was probably the best value meal out I’ve ever had. We tried the pheasant breast, mushroom risotto and the scallops. These were all excellent. We were only let down a bit by the baked goat cheese with beetroot and apple, mainly because the apple was somewhat flavourless. We had some peach cake for dessert as the kitchen was already closing by 22pm and finishing some complicated dishes — we didn’t mind at all, especially since our waiter was so straightforward about it and tried to accommodate us as best she could. The wine list features mainly Czech wines, along with some Italian and Chilean ones. It’s not very extensive but it may tempt you to try something a bit more local. We liked the elegance and simplicity of this place, but also the staff, as they seem to really be involved in what’s going on there. We had a little chat about coffee and we were even recommended other places around town that we should try. A very positive experience, dinner is absolutely great at Café Lounge!

Hands down the best coffee we’ve had in Prague. The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered eggs florentine and an omelette. Both were absolutely delicious, particularly the eggs florentine. Perfectly cooked poached eggs, a subtle portion of spinach and just the right amount of sauce. The décor is warm and elegant. We seemed to get the best table in the house by the window, even though the place was pretty full. Good timing I guess.

Love this café! Super cosy and stylish interior, amazing coffee as well as food and very attentive, professional and friendly service. The only disadvantage is that sometimes the place can get very crowded and it is impossible to get a seat without reservation. If you are looking for a great meeting place or a café where you can rewind, have a coffe or a glass of wine and something tasty to eat, definitely give it a try! And do not forget to try one of their cakes!

This was the first restaurant we went to in Prague. It was delicious and gave us a taste of some traditional food. It also has a cool history lesson on its placemats. Coffee was delicious, the desserts looked good too but we were too full from lunch to partake.

I am very picky when it comes to coffee and after nearly 1 month into my European travels, I only have had 1 good cup of coffee(in Berlin). I gave up on the idea that Europe has some amazing coffee(somewhere). I found this place via TripAdvisor and I must say I was blown away. My favorite coffee in the US is Stumptown’s latte; the coffee here is right up there. This is no Starbucks(although I think you can order coffee to go); this place brews their coffee one cup at a time and although it takes a bit longer than what I am use to in the US, it is well worth the wait. Additionally, coffee this good is meant to be enjoyed so find a seat and relax. I was not planning on eating here but once I saw the eggs/chorizo/pesto/feta/tomato breakfast dish, I could not say no. The food was amazing as well(2nd to the coffee but nothing can really compete with the coffee here). FYI, the menu is also in English which is definitely helpful. The staff was courteous, attentive and set a good vibe for my experience here. I will likely come back every morning until I take off to my next destination.
