Céleste occupies the top floor of Frank Gehry’s iconic Dancing House along the Vltava River. Run by the team behind the late, great Atelier Restaurant, the food and service at Céleste live up to the quality of the Castle views. The cuisine leans toward French, with entrees like seared barbary duck breast and roasted guinea fowl, here served with fresh crayfish. When you do visit, ask to sit in the«Ginger» section of the restaurant, which is surrounded by glass and has a clearer view. Or arrange an evening in their private dining room upstairs, which is absolutely stunning and can seat anywhere from two to twenty people. Of course, diners pay a premium for the view, and the wine list, though extensive, suffers from extreme mark-up. Still, it’s a great choice for a splurge.

Wowzers! The Dancing Building is a pretty cool on the outside. Celeste, on the 7th floor, is awesome. Amazing views of the city at night. Fabulous French food. Small portions but everything is delicious. Classy place with great service.
