Delicious pastries, ice cream, and cake! We may have tried all three of these things… The interior is beautiful and the service was courteous and friendly. They clearly take a lot of pride in what they do.

This pattiserie is quite famous as it has a long history and thanks to it it’s well-known by the locals. It re-opened a few years back and the design of the place is nice and stylish but for me the golden ages of this place are gone. The cakes are quite nice and so is their ice cream, but when it comes to coffee and service these are of rather poor quality. The staff is usually slow and not very friendly and it has already happened to me a couple of times that I got something else from what I ordered. I do kind of like this place as it’s centrally located and the interior is nice but the quality of the service could definitely be improved.

A very nice patisserie with a view to Vodickova street if you get a table at the window on the first floor. Decent variety of cakes and other desserts. The cakes are good, other desserts I haven’t tried yet, but noticed that the Crème brûlée covered with big fresh strawberries looks amazing. The choice of drinks is also sufficient. They even offer warm milk for 20 Kc(the only other place where I found hot milk in Prague was Café-Café) and an interesting hot pear drink with cinnamon. This place has high ceilings and the tables are not too close to each other, so it gives a feeling of having enough space even when there are many people. The place is also nicely decorated responding to its long history(the confectionery was opened since 1911).
