Great place for dessert or a warm drink. Many locals there. I got the pistachio cake and loved it. Great fresh pistachio taste. Hit it up.

If you are craving for a delicious Czech cake in the centre of Prague then come here. This is an excellent«Sweet-house» with always fresh cakes and little sandwiches. Prices are good even though it’s in the very centre. The only thing that I don’t find that good about this place is the service. It’s busy — yes, we all know it but the staff should be able to handle it. Multiple times they act in the classical grumpy Czech way :(. Hopefully this changes, I am going there tonight so let’s see again. But if you are willing to overcome this(which you should be able to) you will be rewarded with some sweet goodness.

Great coffee and delicious cakes! They have a lot of cakes, sandwiches and other yum things to choose from. We had caffe latte, raspberry-cake and the caramel-cake. Delicious!

Royal Karamel or whatever it’s called was as good as advertised. Will be back here tomorrow to try another!

awesome blueberry milkshake, mouth-watering banana cake, everything cheap and super-delicious. The only disadvantage — lots of ppl, the place is so popular that it is always crowded .)

Prague’s center(especially around Vaclavske Namesti) is pretty much a no-go-area in terms of food. Of course there are some exceptions, one of them being Ovocny Svetozor. We are having cake there whenever we can and actually even ordered our wedding cake there… well, we ordered five or six cakes there and stuck something wedding-related in top just to have prime cake as a wedding cake. I can pretty much recommend every single one of their cakes although of course the quality of the fruity ones depends on the season. Their little Czech style sandwiches are ridiculously tasty as well. My verdict? The coffee might not be top notch — but still it’s worth waiting in line for a treat. The odd out-of-time design of the place is a plus for me as well… might be scaring tourists away actually, thinking about it.

This is a review for the ice cream to go only. It is delicious and very well priced! I especially liked the fruit flavors like black currant, cherry, and apricot. Enjoy your ice cream in the little Franciscan garden next door

These are the perfect sandwiches for carb watching Americans. Here I ate two Chlebiceks, which are open faced sandwiches. You take a slice of bread, lovingly spread potato salad, then add meats, cheeses, and other garnish. So good! My friend also ordered the Vetrnik which translates to vane, like a weather vane. I’m not sure how the translation relates to the dessert, but I strongly recommend trying one.
