My friend and I did the Kutna Hora walking tour with Petra and had such a good time. Petra was very entertaining, easy-going and really knew her history. I highly recommend the tour with her. The tour entailed a short walk from the square to the train station. There, you could buy snacks or drinks at the store while Petra bought everyone’s train tickets. Then you hop on two trains, which takes about an hour, and head out to Kutna Hora. The train ride is great; you get to see what’s outside the city and you get to know some of the people that you’ll be spending the next 5 hours with. Our tour was filled with mostly young 20-somethings(like us) and two retired people from my home state, so we got along with everyone! The tour is packed full, lots of opportunities for photos and questions, although Petra really covers everything. ¾ of the way through the tour, she took us to an authentic Czech brewery/restaurant, which was fantastic. I ordered the duck and dumplings. So good.
