Dry food, they did not have a salad to serve with the meal. I ordered from the menue and did not have the all you can eat. And how can you serve hot soup in Europe without Bread? Disappointed !

Amazing big Argentinian restaurant located in a few minutes from Old Town square with cosy cheerful interior design, very good service, delicious food and decent prices(which is a big surprise considering the rich meat menu and location). They have«all you can eat and drink» menu, usual menu and discounted lunch offers during the week days. The meals are very tasty and really don’t leave you disappointed. They also have a nice selection of Argentinian wines(together with other wines). This place is of course pretty much focused on the meat dishes, but the vegetarians can also find some suitable options.

How can any one short of royalty give this place anything less than 5 stars. I have visited prague 5 times and this is a deal you cannot beat. Before i rave about the food, this establishment is owned by the same group that owns la casa argentina which has high reviews. For all the negativity, here are some facts, the service is excellent and the meat is argentine steaks(non hormone meat) and Aussie rump steak. This is very different from the hormone infested corn fed/other feed American meat(low grade). Lunch is 490 czk and dinner is 590 czk. What does this include? All you can eat and drink for 3 hrs. The meat incl argentine /aussie rump, awesome duck, pork, trout and chicken. All you can drink wine or beer, salads, soup, Salami sides, deserts incl cakes, pies and fruits. Finally, you can end the meal with a cappacino or choice of tea. I had 4 glasses of good quality red. In any establishment this cost about apprx 70 czk per glass. Add the maths and the quality of non hormone meat, plus all you can drink czech beer or argentine wine and combine the excellent service it is a non brainer.

As an American who regularly travels through Prague, I stopped in today to check out this restaurant. In the US, this style is closer to that of a Brazilian churascaria, but with the food out at grill you walk up to. SERVICE. The servers were good. I went at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday and the grill wasn’t very well manned. Had to wait a bit a few times, which is fine, as my goal was to ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT. This is a novelty here in CZ(no local Golden Corral), and El Mercado delivers. There are no catches and the wait staff keeps the food coming, clearing plates and serving beverages. PORTIONS. The portions of the meats that you order from the grill were all very robust. NON-MEAT. The warm up, typical Churascaria food was good. Nothing to rave about, very solid. RIBS. These had been boiled and were very wet. They were served from a bin and not prepared fresh. They were not very good. FLANKSTEAK. This was freshly prepared. It was good. I had ordered it medium rare and it was appropriately prepared. It was lightly seasoned with large pieces of rock salt. PORKSKEWER. This was the hit of the meal. It was very tasty, well seasoned with paprika and garlic. Cucumber and red peppers were on the skewer. DUCK. I ordered the duck breast, the portions were good and the seasoning was good. HOTAPPETIZERS. French fries, potatoes, grilled mushrooms, etc. were prepared to order. They looked good. I did not try them. SAUCES. I had two kinds of salsa, a salsa rosa and a salsa picante. The former was mayo-based and the latter was what would be called sweet chili sauce in the UK, US or Australia. They were good, but not what was expected. NOVELTY. If you’re a guest and in town, this is okay, but not great place to hit up.

Neu für uns — das all you can drink Angebot. Wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen.
