For me, any sort of hair procedure is a semi-religious experience and I do not deviate from my salon at home… in America… in little Huntingdon Valley. Blue Hair Studio is the only place I have trusted with my hair(and makeup, and skincare). However, the 4500+ miles separating us make this long distance relationship a little tough on my long hair. Split ends need love and attention, so I did research on a place I could trust. Libor Sula had rave reviews from noteworthy people and publications(Vogue, anyone…) so I took the dive and scheduled a haircut to test the waters. The salon is amazingly well-located – you’re literally right off old town square. All the high-end shopping(Hermés, Jimmy Choo, Louis…) surrounds this salon. If anything, I knew that it was going to be a chic hair adventure. The inside of the salon is well stocked with some excellent products and oozes cool. I was offered a beverage and taken upstairs for my haircut immediately upon arrival. The stylist gave me a generous 15 – 20 minute scalp massage with a conditioning treatment and then took extra care to put me at ease with the cut. She showed me exactly where she was going to cut as she began the procedure, and I immediately felt comfortable in her talented and comforting hands(and scissors). I was so pleased with the results, that a few weeks later I returned with a friend(also in need of a hair cut) for some color. Once again, the service was exceptional and the results were excellent. I cannot wait to return to Blue and feel at home once again, but Libor Sula made my hair happy abroad, and that was worth its weight in gold.
