I have been to this salon 5 times since 2013 and the only reason I would come back after my first visit was a desperate lack of decent hair salons in Prague. Franck Provost is a very expensive salon(I am a client of top notch salons in Los Angeles, San Francisco, London etc etc and I pay about the same amount of money there as at F. Provost Prague). Now. Did I get what I paid for? Hell no. When you check-in they ask you: What would you like to drink? They don’t provide you with a menu or let you know that you’ll pay $ 1.50 for a glass of water — you’ll find out when you cross-check your receipt. I have tried 5 different hair stylist — always asking for the most senior one. None of the stylist lived up to my expectations. My color and blow was always mediocre. When giving the salon one last chance a month ago, I meticulously explained the stylist what and how I want my hair to be done. Sure enough, she did it her way to cut the time and the result was a disaster. When I asked her to explain herself she said: «This is how highlights are supposed to be done, nobody does it the way you wanted it. It’s a nonsense. I also had my manicure done. The polish started peeling next day. I basically had to book another appointment the same week with Petra Mechurova salon and the result was way better. Just had to pay another $ 250 for my hairdo within the same week. This salon is just a disaster and a rip-off. They pretend they cater to high class but in reality their demeanor and service are so déclassé! Fyi, last year I brought my pup with me to the salon and one of the stylist asked me: «So, how much did you pay for your puppy?» Come on, people. Get a grip on yourself!

Big and rather expensive(but I never experienced an overcharge) hairdresser’s saloon with excellent service and professional attitude. The location in the city centre is very convenient. They provide additional advice about hair care and offer hair treatment if necessary. The personnel is usually well-informed about new trends and can suggest a different style. It’s possible to sometimes get to to the hairdresser without advance booking, but not to the manicure, so the reservation is recommended.
