This is Signature restaurant of Miroslav Kalina(one of the host Master Chef Czech reality show) who is over three years trying to promote New Prague Cuisine here. And he is succeeding, I must admitt. His absolutly fresh and superb quality ingredients, professional team and historical ambiance with modern touches creates irresististible machine turnig guests into devoted fans. Ok, the passionate pairing of wines(mostly French and expensive ones) does not suite every pocket. In this case, at least try business lunch here(3 courses for under 20 €) and you’ll be hooked.

Simply wow! Starting with an amuse bouche: a mini profiterole with a burst of asparagus mousse. Sweetbreads for my wife, the best she’s ever had. Pork belly & cheeks for me, also superb. A side dish of mashed potato & chive … rapturous. To finish, a scoop of vanilla cream & orange sorbet encased in a chocolate shell, sitting on a bed of Sicilian oranges … flambéed at the table with Cointreau. We wisely trusted waiter to pair with a Moravian white wine. Service relaxed and superb. Ambience refined modern. Presentations all a visual treat. Proud chef came around to meet the diners. Surprisingly, we walked in without reservations at 1pm. And unbelievably low prices … at home in San Francisco this would be a $ 300+ meal … with lavish tip this was $ 113.

We came here in June at the recommendation of someone in our hotel and it was absolutely delicious! It is far away from the touristy parts of the city but was close to our hotel. It was so good! I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the city. In addition, we arrived near the closing time and the service was great– very nice and accommodating!

This is real authentic french food at a reasonable price compared to what you find in paris, ny or sydney. This place was loaded with the local business class during lunch. The price for a 3 course meal incl a red was € 35 per person. The same value meal would have cost over $ 60 in NY or Sydney. The service was excellent, food was great and highly recommend to try the sweet wine after your meal.
