We went for lunch and The food was so delicious and fresh, the next day we went back for dinner. They failed to disappoint. Be sure to try the grilled octopus, The lamb shank was perfectly cooked, fell off the bone, melt in your mouth. The homemade buckwheat pasta was a nice surprise… Tasty and delicious. The service was great and location close to the old town square.

This place is a tad expensive but the food was delicious. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and a great mix of favors. This place is modern so no traditional Czech food really. We had the seafood and lamb plate. The grilled octopus was the best I’d ever had… and octopus is always risky. This place nailed it. Overall the dish was small but satisfying(one medium octopus tentacle, one small prawn, one scallop, and small pile of calamari noodles). The calamari was the least tasty, but still good. Also had quinoa which I thought I didn’t like much but it was fantastic at this place. The lamb dish was cooked perfectly. Medium rare, melt in your mouth piece of lamb shoulder. It was on a bed of spiced lentils that were also tasty. The plate lacked color but all in all delish. Finally, we had the cardamom crème brule. Sooo good. Had to keep ourselves from licking the little bowl! I recommend this spot… I’m pretty hard to please and I enjoyed my meal the thoroughly overall. The service was also great and you can’t beat eating outdoors with a great, private nook next to the church.

We stumbled upon this place located just off Old Town Square in a classy looking building and comfortable outside seating. My food was all quite good. My wife’s fish was overdone. But what took this place down a notch was two things. 1. The entrees don’t come with sides so by the time you add a green vegetable and starch the place is deceptively more expensive. 2. Our waitress was quite good except that she gave me a short pour for my glass of wine. When the manager came round to inquire if we enjoyed the meal I was honest with him about the food and short pour. He not only didn’t apologize but came back with a bottle of wine, explained that they get five glasses per bottle and asked if I wanted to buy another glass of wine. Not the way to get return business. Needless to say I declined and was glad to be out of there. There are soooo many good places to eat in Prague I would skip this one.
