material is beautiful and they sell beautiful things! I first came by this store in Lesser Town back in 2006. They have since moved to Old Town in Prague near the Tyn Church, in a quaint courtyard(Ungelt) with a large impressive showroom. Like walking through a modern fused with traditional glass gallery. There is a large wall in the front with trays of glass pendants to customize an affordable choker necklace. I love their interior décor, understated pale wood tables and lighting! ** Highlight! On one end of the room with the glass jewelry, there’s a cool collection of bright colored, fun, three dimensional charms and earrings in various organic shapes. We were lucky to meet the glass artist on site, and her name is Jitka Havlickova! Her artistry and talent matches her quirky charm and passion for her work. It would seem that the smaller the piece, the more challenging to mold the glass. Jitka described the creative process«like dancing!» with the need to move fast while the glass is hot and pliable. See the coral earrings and banana glass in the photos– Jitka even created a pair of very ripe banana earrings!(Lol) Adults and kids alike would«awwh» at Jitka’s one-of-a-kind work of art. I only wish I had taken more photos to show here. This is a must-see store while in Old Town! Just take your time walking through the showrooms and admire the glass and crystal artistry on display and for sale, of course.
