My friend who brews beer insisted that I needed to try a Guinness in Europe, as he claims American Guinness is loaded with high fructose corn syrup and that European Guinness tastes more natural. I wouldn’t pass that blind taste test, but this was the cleanest Irish pub I’ve ever been to, with the most extensive menu. Double points for having all the vintage Guinness ads as posters! Wish I could’ve bought them right off the walls. Very friendly service for Prague standards and the place is HUGE. So huge that after walking through 2 empty rooms with maybe 50 – 75 tables, I asked the bartender if they were even open. Turns out everyone was outside in their 3 outdoor seating areas.

The Dubliner has great Irish food and atmosphere. The drinks are very well made and the staff is extremely friendly and Irish. I highly recommend the ribs which are sweet and fall apart. There is live music in the evenings. The normal bar music is a great mix too.

Great atmosphere, great bar, friendly staff and very cool place. Prices are a bit high but for an Irish pub they’ll throw any game on TV. They have anything from volleyball to NFL football. Only gripe was it was extremely smokey so for any non-smokers, be prepared. And for smokers they have a cigarette machine in the back so if you’re looking for a pack look no further.

Obsessed. Out of the 6 weeks I spent studying abroad in Prague this summer, I must admit that my roommate and I frequented the Dubliner at least 2 – 3 times a week. This was our go-to spot on Thursday and Sunday nights. By week 3 we were in a first name basis with most of the staff knowing our drink orders without even asking. We came for the music because the band was a charming group of good musicians who played great covers of all of our John Mayer favorites as well as current popular music, and some great throwbacks, The drinks were a little more on the expensive side for Prague but the music and the crowd made it worth it! Great place for people watching, especially when the bachelor parties rolled in(which is more often then you’d expect).
