A refreshing and lighter alternative to the heavier or more touristy options in central Prague. Reasonably priced too! My girlfriend and I split the grilled goat cheese on a tuft of lettuce– serviced with a pear glaze. For entrees she had the spinach pesto chicken salad with roasted peppers and olives. I had the lemon risotto with shrimp. After 1 week in Europe we feared we were getting a bit on the hefty side so Tobruk offered flavorful options without leaving us bloated.

A lovely quiet café/restaurant on a quiet corner — perfect for gathering with friends or sitting alone reading or writing letters, either in the spacious indoor room or at the tables on the street. Wait staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I recommend the grilled salmon with a side of grilled vegetables; my friends loved the veggie burger and the quesadilla. And I am going in search of elderberry syrup when home — adding it to beer as they do proved delicious!

A cosy nice café with a lot of options for a brunch such as omelettes, sandwiches and salads, or pasta, burgers and steaks for a dinner. They also have a good coffee and tables outside in summer. The service isn’t fast, but the waiters are friendly. The location is rather hidden in my opinion, it’s in about 10 – 15 min walk from Palladium or Florenc, and if I wasn’t brought there by a friend, I wouldn’t learn about this place on my own.
