We stepped in from sightseeing in Prague hoping to find pizza, but found food even better. My wife’s gnocci was probably the best we have had outside of Italy. The service was there just when we needed it without us feeling rushed nor ignored. And when I discovered we had left a bag behind, I returned and they had already safely stored it waiting for me. Definitely worth it for the final meal of our trip.

It is rare to be traveling and find a restaurant so good you choose to go back two days later. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The ambience, wine and service were just as wonderful as the food. Highly recommended

Great dinner experience and fantastic food. I had linguini with lobster, shrimp and zucchini. My wife a lamb risotto. My dish was excellent, pasta well cooked and seafood perfectly tempered and cooked. My wife risotto was pretty good too. We both shared a steak carpaccio as starter and «petit gâteau» as dessert (sufle).
We loved the place and we are not giving 5 starts because of the service…

We have been in Prague for several days and went by the restaurant this afternoon while walking. We looked at the menu posted outside and was pleasantly pleased with the variety… unusual we found for Prague. Went back this evening and had a fabulous meal. My wife had a potato encrusted sea bass that was superb and I had a veal porcini dish that I could have licked the plate. I also had a bean and sausage soup that had been recommended by another review and it was spot on. The décor is beautiful (separate smoking and non smoking rooms) and service was great. The most amazing thing was the price…2 entrees, 2 drinks, appetizer and vegetable side dish $ 76.00 US! You cannot go wrong.

While visiting Prague we found this Italian gem hidden in an alley way near the Buscola Hotel.
The linguine ala olio was old world special as was the veal Milanese which was cooked to perfection.
My wife and I have been around many Italian restaurants and our strong suggestion is to try Kogo Italian Ristorante in Prague.

The Kogo restaurants always guarantee a good quality level. I personally prefer the Kogo in Slovansky dum, but this one is also not a bad choice. It’s good for business lunches and also nice dinners.

Tolle gehobene italienische Küche, die im Vergleich zu den restlichen touristengeprägten Restaurants angemessene Preise hat. Die Kellner scheinen manchmal etwas lustlos, das Essen und die ruhige Lage machen das aber wieder wett. Wir waren gleich zweimal während eines 3-Tages Trip im Kogo essen, sehr empfehlenswert.
