Good clean dark pub, with better than average Czech food. All the normal dishes are available(svickova, hermelin, and rizek) but also a good variation of what cold be considered«strange» recipes. For vegetarians you’ll have to stick to the cheese or my favorite«Hebr» which is cheese wrapped in a potato pancake and fried. Pretty much the perfect food for preparing your stomach for copious amounts of beer. It’s easy to stay here for a while and it is quite cozy. The staff are attentive and will keep your beer full.

Lunch menu is good value with a few strange quirks. For less than 100czk you get soup, main meal and drink but they run out easily and for some reason if you want water with gas it’s free but if you want still water then it’s not included in the menu. And they won’t give tap water. Very strange but otherwise worth the visit. Service can be quite slow. During the lunch menu time it’s not bad but whenever I come between lunch and dinner it takes FOREVER even though it’s not busy at all.
