This was our first restaurant in Prague, recommended by our host for local cuisine. They have an English menu which was very helpful, but tempting with so many things to try. We had the daily special of sausages in a spicy beer sauce and Super potato super dumpling. Both were delicious and unique. The sausages had some oomph and the dumpling really was super with duck and sauerkraut. Reasonably priced and very filling. We will have to go back to try the desserts.

They have great lunch specials. My wife and I come here almost weekly for lunch. Service is good and the daily specials are always new, tasty, Czech favorites. I’m here now just picking up some fried cheese for dinner (syrove trojhranky) for take away @ 159kc. Not bad price for delicious cheese, potatoes and homemade tarter.
I’ll keep coming back for great comfort food.

Sehr gutes Restaurant.
Waren während unseres Aufenthalts gleich 2 mal dort essen, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat!
Zu den Mahlzeiten, am ersten Abend habe ich ein Rump Steak in Pfeffersoße mit Grillgemüse gegessen und ich muss sagen, dass Steak war das Beste, was ich seit langem gegessen habe. Auf den Punkt gebraten und sehr zart. Die Beilagen waren ebenfalls spitze.
Am 2. Tag haben wir als Mittagessen den Fried Cheese gegessen, der auch Sehr lecker war.
Günstige Preise (Käse 6 € /​Steak 11 €) und sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienungen!

A Czech friend of mine introduced me to this restaurant. Said if you’re looking for authentic Czech food and a great atmosphere and a place to watch the IIHF games this is a great place. I highly recommend the potato dumplings here– one of the best I’ve ever had. The beer is cheap! The food is cheap! The service is very good. They have separate sections for smoking and non-​smoking. Lots of TVs to watch sports games on.
