After a long day of sightseeing, this beer garden was perfect for a bit of respite and some libations. The view is almost worth a visit on its own and is comparable to what you can see from the Prague Castle. There are dozens of tables all in the shade of trees overhead and lit up by large string lights. Keep in mind it’s a bit of a hike up here and it’s fairly touristy. The beer is inexpensive and cold and the small stand by the beer garden serves up an amazing chicken sandwich that is filling, but not too heavy. While it is an open seating area located in a park, we were reprimanded for having brought our own water bottles and leaving them on the table, so beware.

This review only applies to the beer garden, not the restaurant. This beer garden was worth the hike up the hill just for the view of the city. A friend and I went on the evening and had a good view of the city’s lights. The garden area has plenty of picnic tables. Drinks and a limited menu of food are ordered from the kiosk. It’s not an extensive menu but has good basic options of beer, cider, wine, etc. it’s an enjoyable relaxed place after hiking the city all day.

Stopped by with a large group including babies. While the waitress didn’t look too happy about it, she arranged a table for us. The restaurant was pretty empty, perhaps it was the time of day. The service was fast and efficient and of course the location was lovely. Minus 1 star for the 20 czk cover per person, otherwise I would be inclined to visit more often when I was looking for more than a sausage with my beer.

This amazing restaurant is located in Letna park about 30 minutes walk from Prague center. A year ago we had our wedding here, a memory for life. Much thanks to the staff about are absolutely fantastic and all our guests are impressed with the service we all got that night. The food was well cooked and tastefully presented on the plate, served on hot plates. The glasses were always filled with drinks. The serving of the food was always very well planned. A year later we were back in Prague and booked ‘dinner in the tower«to experience the memories and the good food again. In stairs, the staff lit candles, and it was really magical to walk up the stairs. Once up there we are faced by a beautifully set table. We enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner and the food and staff were like amazing as the last time. I had also ordered by mail a month before the dinning a mini of our wedding cake as dthey make itself was very curious if it would work. They had even looked up our wedding date, and sat on the cake, really that little ekstra. We was in heven. The view from the tower is unique, you have the whole of Prague for your feet! The restaurant is in 4 different parts, Tower, banquet hall, outside the restaurante(also tables inside) and beer garden with 2000 seats with view Prague.

A beer garden with a view and cheap beer in Prague. It doesn’t get any better than this. Sure, you have to cross a bridge and walk up the hillside to get here, but trust me, it is worth it. You will be rewarded with shade, benches, cheap beer, a great view and more cheap beer. This is an open style space meaning you can bring other drinks and food here(or so it seems) and just hang out(I saw a mix of adults, older couples, families, locals, tourists etc. when I cam here). Afterward you can continue your walk toward the castle and get some incredible panoramic views of the city, water and bridges(make sure to get a to go beer though before you leave this place).
