Small little shop, down a flight of stairs, it opens onto a floor of racks of deliberately curated, cleaned and restored vintage clothing, accessories and some lingerie.
At the time of my visit, along one wall was an exhibit of undergarments through the ages, with mannequins dressed in clothing from six different eras of bras, undies, slips, stockings, etc. I think this may change to other exhibits but I didn’t note an end date.
Just as you walk in, there is a small counter wo-​manned by a sales clerk. When we were there it was a really friendly gal who chatted with us about the different types of finds to be had in Brooklyn vs. Prague and gave us a coupon for 5% off our next visit. If I remember correctly, there was a small entrance fee and photography was prohibited unless you pay another fee.
The clothes I browsed were really well cared for/​restored. It’s not all vintage stores that take such care, so the prices were not cheap but very affordable, especially for the quality and uniqueness of the items.
Absolutely worth a stop-​in if you have a few days in the city and want to mix things up a bit.
