This restaurant is half a block from our apartment and one of the best places I’ve tried for all-you-can-eat Indian-style food. As Breanna K. said back in 2014 it is still crazy busy at lunch even now after the high season, but we noticed that many locals eat here even with so many restaurants in the area, so you know the food is good. If you are lucky, grab yourself a table in either the front or back room(some are communal) and the server will bring you your platter. The price has gone up to 115kč(about US$ 4.75 at the time of this writing!), and you get a mix of vegetables(sometimes paneer or tofu as well) in sauce on top of rice, salad, soup, halva, and yogurt. To get more take your platter back up to the counter and let them know what you would like, although one platter is enough for me. To see what they will be serving the week that you go, see the menu on their website.

Literally the best Indian food I’ve had! The price is outstanding as well as quality and taste.

Wow! A really lovely place, great ambiance and food! The people who run it are amazingly nice and even let us do some czech lessons in there(even if we don’t buy food). I’ve had the daily special and it’s an amazing offer. Each plate is 108kč, and is a salad, soup, main and desert all in one. You can even get refills on the whole thing if you’re not satisfied with one plate. Personally, we ordered seconds of the desert and we were stuffed. Most of the people I’ve gone with find the first helping plenty. They also make a mean mango lassi and some great chai tea! The place is a bit hippy feeling when you come in, but it just adds to the lovely feeling of the place. The waitstaff are quite lovely and they all seem to speak english quite well(just ask if they don’t offer). I’ve heard it’s busy around lunch time, but evenings it’s slower and can easily accommodate groups of 5 or 6 at a table. They also have smaller, more intimate tables if you’re looking for something like that too. I’d eat here any day! CASHONLY!
