Czech it out!
My friend and I are only in Prague for three days, and tonight we finally tried a traditional Czech dish. This restaurant was recommended to us by locals we ran into earlier in the day. It’s also right by the metro station, so it’s super easy to get to.
The only complaint we had was the smoky atmosphere – I reeked of cigarettes for hours after.
I ordered sirloin and my friend ordered the duck, both under the traditional Czech food section. My sirloin was tender, but a little odd with the whipped cream and cranberry relish toppings. According to my friend, the duck was very flavorful, and the meat fell right off the bone.
For dessert, we ordered honey cake and the vanilla ice cream w hot berries. The cake was alright (not that moist but not dry), but I personally preferred the ice cream.
Overall, it was a very good, hefty meal! I’d comeback again!
