As Gordie D said, English speakers are definitely not welcome. Myself and 2 friends came in just to have a couple of beers and the bartender refused to speak English. Gave us the same run around as Gordie got. The place advertises free wifi and is in a tourist area, what does the guy expect?
He wouldn’t even tell us in English how much the beers cost, so I just handed him cash. The prices are located outside so at least I was able to check whether I got ripped off or not. After that he screamed something to us after we walked out.
Skip this place, there are many other places that you can get a beer at and feel welcomed. This was an exception in Prague, everyone else we encountered was very polite.

English speakers NOT WELCOME.
I called into this pub last night and was spoken to the most ignorant barman. He informed me I was in Czech Republic not England and that I should speak Czech. I am not from England I am from Northern Ireland. Whenever I tried to explain politely that I couldn’t understand he continued to speak Czech. I understand not everyone speaks English but if this barman can learn enough to make a statement about not being in England now surely he could learn to understand ‘1 beer please’. Made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable
