Nice food and atmosphere! If you want to taste the American lifestyle and the best wings in town go there!

We were SO happy to find a place in Prague where we could watch American Football. The food was good, we each had quesadillas and shared some wings. Mostly we were just happy to have a place to watch the bowl games while overseas!

We were away from home this year for Thanksgiving. We found this place on Unilocal and sure enough it lived up to the billing. An amazing full course turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The food was fabulous and the 7 of us all loved it!!!

The food was a mix of tex mex, i wouldn’t go for the food, but the staff was great, and one of the only places in all of prague to watch American football. Great atmosphere to watch Sunday games, tons of people in jersey’s and really getting into it. I was very happy. Other than my team losing

Great food w/excellent service. Hidden gem… Friends from the states recommended this pace and I’m glad they did. Fantastic beer selection and amazing food. The cowboy burger is great. Check it out.

A great place for a couple of beers. Serves Mexican and American, with it’s own Jama sauce for wings. The interior is a little bit darker than I’d have liked but it’s indeed called the hollow. Also screens NFL and other sports.

Great atmosphere including if you’re in the mood from some Americana and excellent music playlist in the heart of Prague. The best Czech beers, excellent food and responsive staff.

This is one of the restaurants/pubs to which you usually go with friends. They serve burgers, steaks, chicken wings and in general rather heavy meals that are liked by men and that go well with beer. The place is dark, not very nice interior and the service is sometimes really slow. I am personally not a big fan of this place but this is most likely due to the fact that I am not really the target customer of this place. Guys usually like the food and are also ok with the atmosphere.

If it wasn’t so loud, smokey and crowded in the evenings, it would be one of my favourite restaurants. Because their food is delicious — mainly typical Mexican dishes and the prices are very standard considering the location. The service can be slow, but quite nice. This restaurant has an interesting interior design with many old posters and a very typical atmosphere of a good pub.

This place from the outside looks like a smokey dive bar, with a few fooseball tables and bar/dining room lined with mostly American artists posters and propaganda. Inside there is friendly yet prompt staff, they are organized even when it is busy, and always seem to get our orders right no matter how crowded the place is. The first time I went here I thought this burger is so amazing I don’t even know if its real. Their fries are homemade and delicious. Heinz ketchup is free and plentiful. They have awesome beer samplers and they are affordable at that. I thought– this might be the end of the burger quest in Prague. Just to be sure we went back and sure enough the service, quality of the food and experience was just as good if not better then the first. I am not a smoker, but ill put up with it for these burgers. After 14 places this is the winner. 2014 best burger in Prague. I will be back for more jama!

By far the best burger I’ve had in Prague, I’ve been reluctant to say this but I finally can. Although my first impression of this place was just another pub with burgers it really kind of blew me away with the quality of the burger and the meat, how the bun was soft as squished down to the meat(while not being soggy), to even making me feel as if the vegetables were only enhanced by the flavor of the meat. This is what I was looking for in a burger and after a long streak of places not quite doing right, here it was this gem and so close to Wenceslas square! Also they have many beers on tap try starting with a special beer sampler you won’t regret it.

The beer was pretty good. Burger, yeah, good but not great. The prices are a touch high, but that has a lot to do with the location. I suppose as I live in Texas, if I want a top class burger, I should stay at home.

Pretty decent burger… it’s been awhile, but I’m pretty sure I had one with a fried egg on it and it wasn’t too expensive. I think they have a happy hour, too!

Do you like beer? Do you crave good American cuisine? Don’t want to go too far from the city center? Jama is the right place for you then! Few steps from the Vaclavske namesti makes a great location for Jama. Moreover, I really liked their great offer of domestic but not so mainstream beers(makes you wanna try them all, but be careful, they’re usually higher in alcohol content and still in the regular Czech size — half a liter :-) I am not the biggest fan of American cuisine(that’s what life in the US for some time does to you I guess) but from the people that do, I’ve heard only good things about the chef in Jama. Service was friendly and even though usually very busy, they try to accommodate you as best they can. Last but not least, Jama can be sometimes a little crowded and noisy but that’s a good sign, no? A lot of people obviously think it’s a good place and they’re having fun while being there. Also, if you’re not a fan of American football, stay away from Jama on Sunday evenings from August till February. But if you do like it like me(again, that’s what living in the US for some time does to you, don’t judge me ;-) or you just wanna check it out, Jama is one of the few places in Prague that have multiple TVs with ESPN on them. Obviously then, there are usually quite a few foreigners in Jama but I wouldn’t call them tourists. They are usually expats living in Prague so you can actually take an advantage of it and make that native-English-speaker friend you always wanted to practice your pronunciation :-)

My favourite American cousine place in Prague, very friendly staff and stylish interior. Check out their buger and wing days of the week.
