Great wine selection, nice menu however the service is awful! The whole staff just needs to be replaced by people who can actually do their jobs without a miserable face.

I came back to this place after some years and it has not changed. Its still very classy, good quality wines and nice staff. Brilliant location. The only thing I do not really like that there are always some private parties, so you never know if it is full or open for public.

Great Wine bar with lots of locals. And they serve local wines too, and they’re actually pretty good! Along with the wines I had a cheese and pâté plate with local produce. Good quality and nicely served. With their friendly and knowledgeable staff, they get five stars from me.

I just loved how the staff knew exactly what they should offer me by simply looking at me and it always worked!

While it did not appear to be too busy on a Saturday night, it seemed that reservations were important to get a table. The crowd was international, with a good number of German speakers in additional to locals. The wine selection is fairly substantial, especially by the bottle since it is also a retail establishment. They had about 6 red wines by the glass, and a note that they would open any other bottle in the store to serve by the glass as long as you agreed to buy five glasses. The pours that we did get were rather skimpy. Began with the pumpkin soup and the goose confit. The soup was flavored with bacon, but could still have used more oomph — maybe some ginger or curry. The accompanying bread was awful. The goose confit came served cold in a small jar, along with some decent bread. The goose was tasty but the dish could have used some more herbs, and maybe some onions and garlic, to make it more flavorful and interesting. The lamb, which was noted as sous vide style, was excellent. It was perfectly cooked which really brought out its flavor. It came with a round disk of black lentils. They were cooked well but rather boring — they needed herbs and maybe a vinaigrette. No other vegetable. The duck in the ravioli was dry. It came in a truffle and tomato sauce with shaved pecorino. It was nothing special. The cost for 6 glasses of wine, two starters, two entrees and a bottle to go was $ 1800 Kc. Not bad for less than $ 80USD.

During our vacation in Budapest, Vienna and Prague we visited numerous wine bars and Vinograf on Senovazne Namesti 23 was one of the best. Not to be confused with another Vinograf located at Míšeňská 68⁄8 which we heard was mediocre. After touring the Prague Castle and surrounding sights in that area we headed back toward our hotel and began to look for Vinograf. We «ran out of numbers» on Senovazne so we broke down and asked a local. He directed us around the corner and across the street Senovazne began again and Vinograf appeared. Prague can be confusing to get around :). This is a modern, good looking wine bar with a long bar and many tables. On the large blackboard were some wine specials by the glass and bottle as well as some food specials. We only chose to have wine but the food coming out looked very good. Next time. Our server was very friendly and helpful sorting out what wines to order. Their list is on a computer tablet(plus the blackboard specials). We decided on a couple glasses of local Czech white and Blaufrankish red. Besides the nice atmosphere and friendly friendly service, Vinograf also offers excellent value. 4 glasses of wine, 2 white and 2 red came to less than $ 20.00 dollars! Highly recommend a stop here if in the area. It was only a 5 minute walk from the Prague Marriott Hotel.

Selection is very nice either by the glass or bottle. They play America music classics. And you definitely know when the the metro train goes by our front by the rattling glassware. I would definitely stop by again. Only a block from both the Marriott Autograph hotel Boscolo Prague and the«classic» Marriott properties.

Wonderful place! The food was fantastic and so was the wine! The service is great, very quick. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and suggested we try a wine from Libanon, which turned out to be very tasty! Highly recommended! We would definitely come back here if we are ever in Prague again.

We went in an sat at the bar and told them what kind of wines we liked and they served us some great stuff! The kitchen had closed but the bartender did not hesitate to offer us some cheese and bread. Friendly service, nice ambiance– a great place to relax and enjoy some wines. Not touristy either, which was hard to find in Prague!

It’s a cool and cosy wine place in about 10 min walk from Vaclavske namesti, serving delicious wines from Czech Republic, Italy, France, Chile and other countries. They also have quite good choice of meals starting with cheese, salads or bread with pâté and finishing with bigger proper meals. The atmosphere is nice accompanied by a soft music, and the service is friendly. The place is almost ideal to have a few glasses of wine in a small company.

Love this place! They have absolutely amazing wines selection, very friendly atmosphere and the service is usually also very good. Great for social gatherings or talks with friends over a glass of wine.
