I love the style of this coffee house. It’s very refreshing and lively. I used to come here on normal basis to study and get their bottomless coffee(which is literally the best), but it came to a point where I couldn’t really focus as hard anymore. I definitely recommend this place for a coffee date or a nice brunch though! They have games to play and some bomb dirty chai which I usually get iced. I love how it almost feels like a little getaway from Abilene with their back patio a beautiful nature view of a green belt. The employees are very friendly and easy going. This place is a must in Abilene for coffee lovers!

Very poor customer service! I came here a few times and was planning to continue to come on a weekly basis, but won’t be coming back! Their decaf coffee is always cold in the afternoon. I had to ask the waitress to heat up my full cup of coffee in the microwave because it was so cold. The employees are always in the back when you walk in and you have to wait a few minutes at the door to even be greeted and place your order. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but I felt very mistreated in this place today and the way I was talked to. They need to speak nicer to customers. The girl that was working on 4÷28÷16 afternoon was very rude; she needs training on better customer service and communication. Other than the customer service, the place is nice, but I will not be back here again! I’ll find another coffee shop in town with better customer service!!!

I have been coming here for years and i know the owners have sold out since i was living here last time, but it is still great to see this place up and running. Great coffee with a hometown feel.

Want a great local coffee house?! This is your place! Great sandwiches, salads, and other foods in a laid back place with a back room available for meetings!

This place has the best Chai tea I’ve ever tasted and I have tried them all over Texas but no place could match the quality here!

Great local coffee shop with lots of space — you are not on top of one another and can carry on a conversation. Coffee is some of the best in town.

Very cool place! Good atmosphere and the menu is pretty impressive for a coffee shop. They even serve alcohol. I got the lemonade and wanted to be impressed but I saw them pour it out of a store-bought lemonade carton :-( So why four stars? Atmosphere mainly, plus the options, and people say the coffee is good, and I had a sangwich and I ate every crumb. And I just liked it, so leave me alone.

Giving this place a four star review because it’s VERY unique to Abilene! It has a SHADED outside plaza centered out back that I personally love to study at. Their coffee(I think it’s a local roast) is ok, not my favorite in town, but you can get a bottomless cup for under $ 4 and that’s a fair deal all day long. Employees not always chitty chatty, but I usually go there for study’s sessions, so that’s fine with me. Great for groups, also serve food. Again, their setting is unique and I recommend it!

Probably one of the coolest places you aren’t hanging out at. It’s got what I assume to be local art all over the walls and eclectic furniture to sit on, but that’s not why you should come here. Their patio is a pretty serene getaway without leaving the city limits. It’s an old wooden deck overlooking the creek with plenty of trees and greenery surrounding it. In my experience, it’s never too crowded, and I’ve never seen anyone else out on the deck so it’s quiet and peaceful. I can’t say anything good about their iced coffee, which is the only thing I’ve had there. Tastes like pure water with a splash of milk and sugar. The food doesn’t look or smell great but people seem to like it. I’m giving this place a few stars anyway because: 1) it’s an incredible place to kick back And 2) they serve beer! I know, a coffee shop with beer. Weird So go ahead, at least come sit on the patio, enjoy nature, and throw back a few with a friend. It’s one of my favorite things to do in Abilene!

For a business that has so many positive reviews, I am not sure why mine is not so positive, but my first and only experience was to turn and run. I really do not know why I had the instinct to flee when I entered the place. I didn’t order anything for myself, but my daughter got a non-coffee beverage and she said it was good… but it had ice cream, so how’s it not gonna be good? It felt cramped inside and it was complicated and cluttered looking. Even the menu seemed complex. And it’s just my personal taste, but I do not think a coffee house has any business serving alcohol. People tend to go to drink coffee and socialize… not booze it up. Parking is not good either. Very shady/creepy looking.

I wish i could give MezAmiz Deux a full 5 stars, but i honestly cannot fully love this place First off, the selection of healthy(for the Texan standard.. still way too full od ingredients and sauces for the average European taste) sandwiches is a mix of panera’s, jason’s with a «local» twist to it. Nothing fancy but a good selection for thosw with a need for fresh ingredients and a shabby chic(or neo-hippie) vibe. There are a few coffee selections, the tea is not the usual teabag option and it is rather fruity even in the non-sweet selection. There is the choice to dine indoors(highly recommended during the scorching texas summer heat) or in the outdoor patios. I do find the price tag a bit pricey for the amount of food provided… May be n3cause everywhere else in town you are brought double the size or offered half the price. Other than that, if you want an afternoon to yourself and your friends without being rushed. this is the place to be

I needed a place to study for promotion, seeing as there are no places on base anymore. I found Mezamiz! The atmosphere and service is great, it’s not loud, my snack was delicious and the coffee hit the spot. They have a bottomless coffee that I jumped on seeing as the material I’m studying is really zzzzzz. I will be going there more often.

Great little coffee shop with a lot of great food options. It appears to always have a decent crowd, so be open to a spot on the patio if the inside is full. This place attracts a diverse crowd mixed of college kids, business folk, and middle aged friends looking to socialize. This was a great find for someone new to the area and looking for a comfortable place to study and load up on caffeine. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is due to the limited seating inside. A bar top area or more two person tables would be great.

They serve beer and wine and play Phil Collins ‘Easy Lover’. Oh yeah, there’s coffee too. Not great coffee, just coffee that says to your brain… I think it’s time to wake up. Lunch can be pricey for what you get so keep your hopes and excitements about this quaint place in check. On the brighter side, they often have live music so it can be an alternative to a night out at the bars.(If your friends agree to stimulating conversation and scrabble over shots of fireball.) It’s vintage Abilene and everyone should come here every once in a while.

Everything about this place deserves five stars. It’s a great place for socialising and homework. On weekday evenings it gets crowded with university students, but they keep their volume low. They’re closed on Sundays. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for a to-go drink. They use reusable mugs and cups and both Mother Nature and I thank them for that.

Patio seating is really nice on pretty days! Try the Italian Panini! I’ve not made it to happy hour yet but, hear that the music on the patio is fun!

Been coming here for years. Love the atmosphere. Coffee is great and they now offer beer and wine. This is where I have a problem. They charge more per glass than what the whole bottle costs for most of the wines. Two glasses of supermarket wine should not cost me $ 20. That and every time they need to open a new bottle, no one seems trained on how to do it. It’s always an ordeal.

Great place to go and relax with a cup of coffee. Outside deck is great in the afternoon when the sun has passed. Gets pretty noisy when they are busy, but a really good local place.
