Whereas most coffee shops keep their coffee in those large, silver thermoses for hours on end without a second thought, the barista at The Daily Grind — who I believe is also a proprietor — warned me that the coffee was about an hour old. She told me to let her know if it was too cool, and if it was, she would remedy the situation. That’s just an example of how friendly and accommodating they are. The friendly staff, cozy, homey atmosphere, varied menu choices, and high-speed wi-fi internet connection make this a great place to spend some time. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the limited business hours, although that is understandable because they cater to downtown businesses.

Cute small café with unique gifts. Reasonably priced. All kinds of coffee drinks. Egg salad sandwich and chocolate chip cookie were good.
