Acton Carpet

Horrible experience. The husband and wife that own this company sized our estate stark carpet. The wife highly recommended that we keep the border of the rug, stating it was a signature border. We opted to keep it for a 400 dollar addition to the price. The border was put on so poorly that it immediately started coming apart. I sent photos and emailed this company repeatedly they offered no solution other than cutting the stray wool (which looks horrible thanks to that suggestion) and did not stand by their work. They now have all sorts of excuses maintaining a lack of responsibility for the state of our rug. Their price was lower than the professionals we got quoted in Brighton and the quality was definitely lacking, I would not recommend this company. The owner admitted that the job wasn’t done perfectly when he came out to our house to see the shotty job in person. They should have been more clear in stating the possibility of imperfect alterations due to the age of the rug before not after we had the rug altered.
