After searching local bike shops for, not only a great bike but also for a great experience, I came upon JRA. I bought 2 Jamis Durangos(which I love btw) for my wife and I. Not only was everyone extremely helpful, but also knowledgeable, encouraging, and most of all friendly. Vince is super cool and is always ready to help out and answer any questions. Being new to mountain bikes, I had a lot of questions. But they answered them all, and more. I’m so happy I made my purchase at JRA and I’m looking forward to going on one of their shop rides

Bought my bike here a few weeks ago. Vince spent a ton of time answering all of my questions. No high pressure sales. Really made me feel comfortable and not helped me make my own mind up. He also guided me through the essentials of getting started in this sport, gave me some riding tips and told me which trails to start on. The friendly service and huge selection this shop offers will keep me coming back for years.

Stopped in for a quick tea. The chai latte is made with fresh chai(not powdered!) and the right amount of milk. Server was friendly and the patio area is nice to sit on.

Vince and the guys are the best shop I’ve ever taken my bike in for service! I have come back repeatedly and they have never let me down! I’d recommend JRA to anyone needing their bike serviced. Top notch!

Just got off a 6 hour flight from Orlando with only 1 hour of sleep. I started falling asleep behind the wheel. Found this place and was very impressed. Very nice staff Guy at counter was quick and polite. Saw how tired my buddy and I were and gave us 2 extra expresso shots for free. All in all if you’re ever in the area and need coffee or a bike stop by

Vince provided excellent customer service, he proved he is very knowledgeable about the bikes he sells, and he’s an all around nice guy. I went to the shop yesterday for the Ibis demo day; I had reserved a size large Ripley LS to take out. Vince changed out my pedals and set up my suspension, and then realized the size large was too small for me. He immediately retrieved the XLLS, changed the pedals, and again set up the suspension. I took the bike out and road Chesboro, and never wanted to return it. What an awesome bike! Thank you Vince for your outstanding customer service! Because of your hospitality and patience, I will be back in a few months to purchase my dream bike!

I’m extremely happy I went into JRA Bikes & Brew today. Another local shop close to my house told me they couldn’t fix my mountain bike but could replace my entire crankset for $ 200. They didn’t have the part on hand and suggested I try JRA. So I did and I couldn’t be happier!!! Vince and John at JRA looked at the problem, replaced a SINGLEBOLT and my bike was fixed for $ 15!!! While I was there I talked to them about switching my 3×10 drivetrain config to a 1×10. Other people I talked to told me it couldn’t be done without buying a $ 600 chainring and cassette(on the low end of the price spectrum). Again, JRA surpassed my expectations by telling me they could convert me to a 1X10, and that their personal bikes are built this way, but that they could do it with minimal expense. So I said go for it. They immediately set to work and less than an hour later I had a new, single chainring and a new rear rear dérailleur for a fraction of the cost I was expecting. I just got back from riding the new config and it’s awesome! JRA gave me honest advice and exceptional service that was fairly priced. Plus I had an awesome latte while they fixed up my ride. From now on, JRA is the only shop that will work on my bike.

I’m always in search of fun coffee shops that break away from the franchise norm and this spot did the trick! Every employee was friendly and warmly greeted me. The iced coffee was a strong brew with a smooth taste. Great find!

MOSTAMAZINGICEDLATTEYOUWILLEVERHAVETHEPLEASURETODRINK !!! Pure magic in a cup. We always get half hazelnut half mocha with soy milk over ice. I love that it is a bike shop as well & they always have something good on tv & all the employees are so helpful and willing to appease our espresso needs. So thank you Bike N Brew. Thank you for being the example for coffee shops everywhere. We love you. Sincerely, the three hapa Hawaiian girls that came in Twice in Ten minutes today to get refills

This is a great spot to get coffee in Agoura. The sign outside says«bikes and coffee» and that’s exactly what you’ll find inside. I’m not a cyclist but they don’t make me feel out of place when I go in. The only thing I’ve ever ordered is the hazelnut latte. Iced or hot it’s delicious. There’s only one table and bench inside and there are a couple outside.

Perfect! It’s gonna be a hard time for me to come back to my usual French(I’m from France) bicycle shop, full of patronizing and unhappy bike elitists! Aside from the joke, this place is perfect for all the bikers in the area: commuters, experienced and new road & mountain bike riders,… Even if you’re not into biking, just step in & order a delicious smoothie or one of their snacks! The service is great, the people too, it’s not that pricey and the working hours are super convenient!

I don’t really expect to find a cool independent coffee shop out in Agoura Hills, but JRA is a nice option. It’s part bike shop and part coffee shop. Nothing too fancy here, but I did enjoy my CAPPUCCINO. However, if you’re not into bikes, you may not appreciate the smell of bike tires.

I feel very fortunate to have JRA Bikes and Brew in my neighborhood. The store covers all of my core needs very well, meaning they stock a solid mix of products for all bicycle types, have skilled mechanics, and the store is clean and very well merchandised. These alone are great attributes, however what really stands out and sets them apart is how the owner Vince and his staff make you feel instantly welcome(which is a lost art in many bicycle stores) when you step through the door. I discovered the store a little over a year ago and have since used the store for service, replacement parts, coffee and a bicycle fit. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of work, service and staff. JRA has brought back the fun in going to the bike shop and has earned my repeat business and referral.

I went by JRA Bikes and Brew for the first time today. I needed to replace the rear brake assembly on my wife’s mountain bike; I met the owner Vince as son as I walked in and once we had discussed what I needed he got the bike logged in and started looking at the workload to give me an ETA for the completion of the repair. After looking at what still needed to be done in the three hours left before the shop closed he surprised me by saying both the repair and a requested tune up would be complete by closing time. I showed back up around 3:30 and the bike was ready to go. It was a very clean install, priced fairly and the tuneup was spot on. Vince made sure to find out if I knew about bedding the new pads and rotor in(I did) before I got out the door and went over each line item in the receipt so I knew what I paid for. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will benavides many times in the months and years to come(especially since they are next to our main trail). Thanks to Vince and his crew!

My Husband and I stopped in here to fix my mountain bikes back tire and get his seat pole cut down. The staff were so friendly it felt like I had been coming to this bike shop for a long time even though this was my first experience with this shop. My husband had mentioned this shop to me a week or so ago and I had been anxious to check it out since the words Bike and Coffee in the same place came out of his mouth. I was not disappointed as Bikes and Brew delivered both great tasty beverages and super service. I look forward to ridding more at malibu creek state park in order to stop in to this shop. My only wish was I lived in westlake so I could create more excuses to come visit.

Super friendly. Stop in for a delicious espresso and a pastrie while having your bike tuned up or repaired. We had a latte, best in the area, a chocolate croissant, and a chocolate donut. All fresh and tasty.

Vince & his wife are super nice people! Great for your daily cup of brew and bikes: D They’ve got a large selection of bikes. for all sizes and types. Service is very professional and courteous. Demo bikes and even hardware(some) are available! Very clean, welcoming shop. uh. what else. Oh and his prices aren’t bad either. You’ll always find some bikes on sale! I just went in today to check if my bikes hubs needed adjustment or brakes needed bleeding(I thought I didn’t do them properly) but he had a feel of the bike and told me it’s good to go! He didn’t push me into services I didn’t necessarily need :). NO pressure. I will definitely be picking up my next bike from here!

I’m not a bike enthusiast, but this place caught my eye! It’s a cute bike specialty store, with high end gear, repairs, and coffee, so that bike enthusiasts could gather with like minded individuals, grab a beverage, and chat. I ordered one of the holiday specials– a Pumpkin Pie themed hot coffee. It was tasty and priced similarly to most coffee chains. The staff was really friendly, as well.
