I was excited to come here finally. Came here with wifey my buddy and his girl. Sat down and ordered a coffee stout that had fresh ground coffee bean sprinkled on top of the beer head. It was amazing. After that everything went down hill… service was average and when the food came out it was luke warm. We then tried to make up for it by going with some dessert which was a bad choice. The cheesecake and crème brûlée were too salty and the bread pudding was old. If I’d come back it would be for beer only.

Service is great and the food is pretty good Ultimately, this is a brewery though. Looks more like a restaurant and doesn’t have a brewery/bar feel at all. And because it’s a brewery, this review is largely weighted by the beer itself. The beer is mediocre. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Just a standard lineup of beers that I probably wouldn’t seek out.

Great place! I love the atmosphere. It encourages conversations and the staff is very professional. The food is great. I really like the ciders that they offer. The poutine is very good. It is a nice place to spend with friends.

We’ve been frequenting Ladyface for sometime, but always saw it as a weekend afternoon type of place. Last night, after an epic fail at a nearby spot for v-day, my wife and I ended up there for dinner. The food and entertainment was great! The service… superb!!! Jaimie, our server was attentive, fun, kind and he single-handedly salvaged our night. Thanks to him and the rest of the Ladyface staff for a great night.

I have eaten there several times and really love the place. Just finished a nice dinner tonight on the patio. I had the burger which was very good and my wife had the trout which was delicious. I would strongly recommend the sweet potato fries. Finally, the service has always been really excellent.

Been coming here for years and would recommend to anyone. The drinks… from beer to mixed… are great. The food pairs well! I would recommend the Mac n cheese, fried with garlic, and the burger!

Beer is great. Food is good. I definitely liked their 10.5% imperial stout. I had two of these and felt great. its a nice atmosphere and it feels like a local place that i could drink at everyday.

This has been our local go to place almost from the day it opened. It starts with the location with a great patio and view of the Santa Monica Mountains and its namesake Ladyface Mountain. Then there’s the beer menu, with their own craft brews, plus guest taps which are constantly changing. My wife prefers wine and loves their house red blend. The menu has great options with a european flavor: the Belgian style fries are great as are the flatbreads, mac n cheese, burger and a new item that is my new favorite, steak frites. You can’t go wrong with anything here. The owners are active in the local community so you’ll see the Ladyface van and taps at many local events serving up their beer and supporting the community.

This is a favorite go-to. Some great treats in a casual environment. We enjoyed our yellowtail special, fish and chips, olives and beers today(our favorites are the Russian lullaby, barrel aged stout from El Segundo, and Porter) Love this spot

Excellent IPA… 1st time here and the beers they have are on point. Incredible selection. Their anniversary beer is a must and Adam at the bar is the person to ask for; what a great bartender.

Good vibes as soon as you arrive. It feels like everyone is a local but you don’t feel like an outsider. I was able to choose where I sat as it was about 3:30 pm and fairly open. I opted for indoors since it was almost 90 degrees out(come on October!) and I wasn’t in the mood for a sunglasses tan. Our waitress was pretty in that genuine smile, not overly made up kind of way. I instantly felt like she was a friend or someone I already knew. Very casual atmosphere — lots of jeans, shorts, sandals, hair up in ponytails kind of crowd. Food was great. We got a few different things and we were happy with all of it. The portions are generous so be a good sharer. The beer was great. I only wish we had tried a flight!

2 of us were served rancid meat and couldn’t get out of bed the next 2 days. Wanted to die. We sent it back after one bite but it still had the effect on me. Driving by the restaurant just makes me ill. Just sayin’

Adam behind the bar is very knowledge able about available beers that would best fit what your hankering is. Everyone’s pallet is different and he takes time to make sure you have found the best beer that’s best for you. Great service and. Great food.

Ok the food is pretty good. Not cheap, but it’s well done. The archival /specialty ales are just fucking amazing. Seriously amazing tart boozy rich layered beer that’s reasonably priced given the quality and ABV. I don’t understand how this place isn’t rated higher.

Food was decent. Portions were small. My friend and I ordered the Duck Confit sandwich and Croque Monsieur. Neither of us were full after the meal as the two sandwiches were small and served with only a small side salad. Beer was good. Our server was clearly new and inexperienced, which is fine, but what isn’t is that she had virtually no knowledge of the menu and proceeded to list off random food items that she knew about when asked for recommendations and didn’t even know the daily special. MICE. We sat on the outside patio where I saw at least three mice roaming the patio and at one point one ran across my feet. I get that the restaurant is right next to the mountains but still not okay. Poor value. Need better portions and/or included sides and better server training. This review gets a 3STAR instead of a 2STAR because our server was trying.

The best sweet potato fries. Try the blind ambition beer. Very good. Great place for a casual lunch dinner or happy hour. Sandwiches, burgers, salads. Nice outdoor seating. Nice bar too and a good happy hour. My most recent visit I had the French dip. It was good and I enjoyed it with my sweet potato fries. Too bad I was there for lunch during work hours or I would of had a blind ambition. My co workers loved the duck confeit sandwich. Another had salmon sliders and a chicken sandwich. Finally the chicken curry salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was not bad but just ok. Don’t forget to order the sweet potato fries and blind ambition.

French inspired Gastropub grub with a brewery So being in a strip mall, but this is in Agoura where everything is in a strip mall, doesn’t take anything away from the quality of this craft brew pub. This place is located right off of Agoura Road and Kanan Road so it is a nice place to stop on the way home from the beach or rock climbing. I want to start that I did not eat anything since my friend and I came here to escape a kids birthday party we were attending down the street and wanted to drink some cold craft brews on a hot day. But I did read the menu and they have French items like croque madames and monsiers which would go good with the Belgian Ales they serve. They have a crazy concept since I would never equate France as a beer country. We decided to sit at the bar with seems very large but the huge comfy bar stools take up a lot of space. One interesting thing they had behind the bar was a chalkboard that was used instead of gift certificates. So, we started with a session beer, since they were out of the lager, and it being 5PM in the Summer which made it day drinking. Their session IP was 4% alcohol and had a lot of flavor for a session beer. I could have drank that the whole time I was there but wanted to try other beers. The session IPA came in a full pint class, poured with a finger’s width of foam. So thing with craft brew and Agoura is that when we were there a table sent back two beers since they said there was too much foam. The second beer was an oak barrel aged IPA that was served in a 10oz glass called Agoura Ale at 6.7% alcohol. You could really taste the oak and was a nice beer that would probably go with meat, like steak or ribs served with steak cut fries. It seems like the brewer is not scared to brew these types of beers, especially in that neighborhood. So after having a strong beer we changed gears to the La Blonde ale that was a Belgian style witbeer. It was refreshing but we should have drank that first since after the first sip you could really taste the wheat. I think the La Blonde would be a good GNO beer for the ladies. Compared to other Belgian or German witbeers it was on the wheaty side and I don’t know if that was the brewers intent to not to balance it out with more malt. The La Blonde is served in a 10 oz glass and is 5.3% alcohol. I would probably pair it with steamed mussels and clams and a side of french fries. So I wanted to try one more beer and the Hop Project Magnanimous was calling out to me, especially after drinking that witbeer. The Hop Project had an insane bouquet of flowery hops which prepared me for that bitter hoppy flavor at the first sip. And at being 6.7% alcohol it would be my last pint as it is served in a pint glass. I was craving a burger while eating this but it would probably go great with fish and chips. The Barman and Barmaid were awesome and knowledgeable and we were greeted by a nice pleasant hostess. The interior is decorated with art nouveau inspired paintings originally by world famous Bohemian(Czech) painter Alfons Mucha. The copies are not as good as the originals and I think the owner should have paid the Alfons Mucha Foundation licensing fees to display the original artists’ posters. It would add more authenticity to their concept. I am purely giving a 5* review based on the quality of the beer we had and the service at the bar we had on a First Sunday of August.

I liked this brewhouse. The setting is quite lovely, with a view of some of the local area trees. It is located in a shopping plaza and we did not have any problem with parking. We were hungry, the place was rather empty so we were able to sit down inside right away. After a heavy selection process, I chose the La Blonde and my boyfriend had the Saison. Choosing a lunch option was really hard too. There were several interesting appetizers, such as cheese danish pastries(called gougeres), pretzels, sweet potato fries, sliders and oysters. You could also get salads, sandwiches, burgers and flat breads. He got the pork sliders with fries and I chose one of the flatbreads, the bacon one. Food came out really fast. The fries I tasted were phenomenal. Nicely seasoned. The pulled pork sliders is a specialty of LadyFace so I was told that they measured up to the hype. I loved the branding of this place so I went directly for the merchandise. The usual suspects – hats, shirts, glassware. But I got one of those marble tiles with the logo and got a hat for the bf. I do wish the shirts were not from American Apparel cause they run small…

This place gets two stars cause their bread pudding is stupidly delicious but everything else is the pits. I ordered Moules Frites(Mussels and Fries) — of course tasted extremely subpar to how it tastes in France. My mussels came out cold and the server told me they are putting it back in the pan and heating it up. Ok fine, that works, but it came back and the plate was hot and the mussels were shriveled. CLEARLY microwaved. The food here for lack of better words is BS. Why lie with your offerings? Very upset, albeit the waitress was really nice.
