The meat jun and garlic chicken are always fresh and tasty. The only thing is the price which is way too high but that’s pretty much normal in Hawaii.

This location is filled with Filipino workers. I have to constantly ask the cashier to tell the cooks not to over cook the meat. Filipino style of cooking is to burn the meat no matter what is on the grill. Believe me I know. I’m married to a Filipino. I placed my order like I always do, and asked the cashier to not over cook the meat. She didn’t even say a word to the cook. So, naturally, the meat was served burnt to a crisp. Please train your Filipino cooks to cook for the customer, not cook to Filipino cultural beliefs. For Gods sake, your name is Yummy«Korean» BBQ!!! Not Yummy Philippine style BBQ!

The service here is in dire need of improvement if they intend to keep customers from coming back. I, myself will likely not try this particular Yummy’s branch. Yummy’s has, in my opinion, already created a good loyalty base with the kamaaina which is even more disappointing as I’m sure there’s an expectation that one would actually receive a great customer service on a consistent level. I felt rushed with my order here and was not asked if I would like a drink with my meal, pretty standard to expect that, right? As I was late to add a drink since she already swiped my card, the cashier gave me a look that it spoke to me as if I was inconveniencing her, saying«What? What you like add?» So, I ended up not ordering a drink. The one star is for the quickness in receiving my order. Although, I was not thanked when I received it. Two simple words, «THANKYOU»…and a smile –those are service basics, thank you very much.

This Yummy’s Korean BBQ is located in Pearl Ridge Mall on the first phase on the second floor in the food court. This place is always efficient, fast, neat, and my food always tastes good, especially my Meat Jun! Consistency is key at food establishment and I wish this specific Yummy’s were in Kapolei by my house, because its hard to find good Korean BBQ places. lol

Nastiest Meat Jun ever!!! Was never this bad before. Grease soaked and not even crispy with a weird flavor. Meat Jun sauce was worst, tasted like shoyu and vinegar. If your going to throw money away on lunch over there do yourself a favor and just burn it so you save on gas.

Yummy’s has good food but my complaint is about this particular location. EVERYTIME I come here, all of the workers are mean, rude and impatient. The last time I came here, I bought $ 40 worth of food for my family of 5 to share and eat at the the food court and I asked the lady if I could have 3 extra plates for my 3 young kids and she said, «I’ll give you 2» gave me the plates and went about her business. Seriously? What is one more extra plate for a 4 year old? So rude. That’s the last time I’ll ever to this location.

Ended up picking up lunch here because daughter #2 had her senior photos done at Expressions. Thinking I’ll make everyone happy with Korean food was an assumption I shouldn’t have made. I haven’t had a great or even good food experience with Yummy’s over the years. Tried different locations and still was more than disappointed with the food quality. Ordered the kalbi plate, bulgogi and bbq chicken combo and the bibim kook su. Sorry to say the best thing out of all this food was the bulgogi. Everything else was bland and even the side dishes weren’t seasoned enough. The kalbi was tough had to use fingers and teeth to pull meat off the bones, flavorless and thin cut. The bibim kook su looked tasty then after a couple of bites realized the noodles were tossed to look like sauce was all over but no taste at all. So, after shelling out nearly $ 36 for the lunch I shall make a mental note to never pick up food from here… again!

The food is subpar and the wait is horrendous. The last time I tried to eat here I waited 15 minutes before cutting my losses and going over to Panda. I gave my meal to a guy who came up to the register; total wait time would have been close to 20 minutes for some crappy fast food.

The food(barbecue chicken) here is awesome. I am not a very adventurous eater and I like standard American foods, Italian food, Mexican food etc. Mini plate with barbecue chicken, noodles, and broccoli. $ 10. So tasty and not that terrible for you. It gets pretty slow when it’s busy, so don’t count on running in and out at peak meal hours.

Always take-out, always good. Nice assortment of veggies. Good chicken. Beef is heavy on the salt but perfect with rice.

I just got a mini chicken Katsu plate from here — while I was waiting for someone to take my order, they paid no attention to me at the register as they continued to talk to each other and joke around. I don’t like the lack of customer service and it’s never been this bad before. I’ve never had to ask for something as simple as a plastic bag before and I don’t think anyone should have to ask. It’s used to be where they would put it in the bags regardless of whether you’re eating it in the food court or taking it home. And being ignored twice before actually receiving my order is pretty bad. She called the plate out twice, looks at me and ignores me. Seriously ma’am, I’m right in front of you saying that it’s mine and you ignore me? That’s not how you treat customers. And I will no longer get anything from here.

My partner in dine and I were visiting Pearlridge and scanned the food court. Korean BBQ was most appealing and we were not disappointed. The portions were huge. My chicken was delicious and so was the macaroni salad. Our bubble tea drinks were indeed yummy. We had the taro bubble tea drinks. Service and food were great. We would return whenever we visit Pearlridge again. Delish!

Worst ever. Very dirty and won’t get from this yummy again. I ordered a plate and saw an insect in the Mac salad. Complained and they said it just landed there after I ordered. The second time my friend saw hair in the long rice and they denied it and won’t give our moneyback. I was so mad. I think the best yummy is the one at NEX but don’t ever buy from the one in pearl ridge mall.

me and my partner always used to come here and share a plate lunch because of the large portion of the veg. sides… but now that its almost $ 12 for a kalbi bbq chicken plate and 4 small sides its almost as if you are indeed paying for 2 lunch plates. plus the girl behind the counter always has a frown on her face and has an attitude problem, doesnt make feel welcomed here anymore.

I remember always going here after school, while cruising the mall getting some ono Korean yummy grindz at Yummy’s. Good times at yummys most of the time I always like gettting dinner here. The staff and customer service is good. I like how most of the Yummy’s in the malls including this Pearlridge one is run by Pinoys all of the time. I always like getting the man doo and bbq chicken plate. The kalbi and teriyaki is always winners as well. My favorite sides are seaweed, cabbage, corn, and bean sprouts. Depending on what size plate you get, depends how many sides you are entitled to getting. A regular plate gets you 4 sides and a mini gets you 2 sides. Yummys also has other stuff like soups and other sides. However, most of their good stuff comes in a plate lunch. The hot soups have noodles and vegetables inside of them and perfect for whenever you are sick even though I still suggest and prefer phở but they are a good alternative nonetheless. This location is located inside the Pearlridge UpTown mall area in the food court there. Unilocal 365 Challenge #294/365

Oh Yummy’s Korean BBQ at Pearlridge… you are by far my FAVE take out spot to get korean food from. I’m pretty sure the staff knows me by now because I always come and I always order the same thing! Kalbi and BBQ chicken mixed plate with NO rice. I always get potato salad, long rice(x2!), corn, and cucumber kimchee. OMG I’m drooling just thinking about it. The meat is ALWAYSHOTANDFRESH, super JUICY, and good God what do they marinate it in because it has SOMUCH flavor!!! Literally I think Yummy’s at Pearlridge has THEBEST long rice!!! One day I was ordering and I the guy ahead of me got 2 orders of long rice as well and he told his friend(they have the best long rice here!)… I agree!!! Also, the potato salad is the best also! Okay so I hate mayo, but the mayo isn’t really heavy here… I mean okay lemme be honest, I’ll scrape most of the mayo off of the potato but what’s left on it tastes soooo good! Cucumber kimchee could be spicier but it’s a nice compliment to my dish. OMG seriously my mouth is watering just thinking about it! You also get a piece of mandoo(it’s okay) and the zucchini with the egg(yummy!) and all for less than $ 11. It’s a LOADOFFOOD!!! All those sides plus 2 pieces of BBQ chicken and 2 pieces of kalbi. PLEASEEATHERE! It’s DELISH!!!
