This place met my expectations. It’s a general hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. I wasn’t blown away, but I wasn’t disappointed. Some have said the staff was rude. I did not experience this. I came during lunch and just picked from the pre-made stuff on the line. It’s basically what you’d expect: Egg rolls, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, you know the drill. I got sesame chicken and bourbon chicken. I did not like the bourbon chicken but the sesame chicken was good. Fried rice and egg roll tasted like every other standard Chinese restaurant. The real question is: would I eat there again? Probably. But being next to a penn station and a chipotle, I’d probably rather go there if that tells you anything. The price is a little high considering what you get. They do have a «special» menu hanging on the wall which I did not try. So maybe next time I’ll give that a shot.

This is one of the best places to eat around The University of Akron; the portion sizes are huge and the food is reasonably priced. Their platters are around $ 6 and they could feed up to 2 people. If you like spicy food, I highly recommend the spicy bourbon chicken. It’s amazing, and I get it several times a month.

The price points are very good here. I purchased 2 items with fried rice and a bottle of water for $ 6.75, and they took my dining dollars from U of Akron. The staff was very friendly, and offered generous portion sizes. The décor was nice, although the walls could do with more decoration. The music seemed a mix of pop music and Chinese music. This will be a mainstay of mine while I attend the University.

Staff was incredibly rude when order was taking an excessive amount of time to prepare. We waited 25 minutes for two simple sushi rolls after being told repeatedly that it would be finished in «3 minutes» before walking out on an order we had paid for. Never was offered a refund or a coupon for the long wait, and only one staff member apologized for the wait(the blonde girl was too intent insisting that it wasn’t her fault, which is not a desirable trait in someone who works in customer service). During our stay, one woman who ordered waited so long that she was going to miss class, and staff was equally rude to her(we could plainly hear staff screaming from the back). Will never return, and will recommend that our friends not waste their money for sub-par food and service with a poor attitude. If you want to wait 25 minutes for sushi, try Sakura — at least the quality of the food and professionalism of the staff there will be worth your time and money. I expect this facility to go out of business shortly.
