I met with the Director of Operations for an initial entry ‘interview’ and I’m quite impressed. He was attentive, a solid listener and offered a helping hand with an open door policy. The lady that checked me in was very kind and quick to assist. I haven’t read the most flattering reviews for Pinnacle and it’s a shame because I had such a wonderful introductory into the practice when I went this morning. I sought out this center because I moved back to the area and needed to re establish care to continue managed care for my meds. I go elsewhere for social work(someone I’d seen years back whom I think the world of), and I will be having my first appt. with the NP in a few weeks. Hope to continue such great experiences here!

Appointments are not readily available. Takes days to get a call back.

They’ve cancelled on me before(front desk people, NOT my doctor), additionally, I have waited up to an hour on numerous occasions to see my doctor(WITH appointment).

I needed to update this because I recently had a bit of a problem there. I have been seeing the same psychiatrist there for many years. He’s getting ready to retire and cutting his hours, so I wanted to see another person there for my medication. Well, they don’t allow switching between providers, so I’m on the look out for a new psychiatrist. Everything in my previous review is still true. I’m still seeing my counselor there and he’s amazing! However, the inability to switch between providers makes them lose a star.

Little hole in the wall kind of place. The waiting room is EXCEPTIONALLY narrow and stuffy. You have to turn sideways to let anyone else come in the room and walk by to the receptionist. When I called to make an appointment, the intake«counselor» was brusk and rude, however the receptionists tend to be nice.

I had a very bad experience there. I was seeing a psychiatric nurse practitioner who told me that I needed to have more sex with my husband to treat my PTSD from being sexually molested as a child! My appts were never on time and when I was declared disabled, I was terminated as a patient«because they didn’t take Medicare» but this was 6 mos before I qualified for medicare. I would recommend seeking help elsewhere. I did find most of the office staff to be polite and helpful but the treatment staff was much less impressive, not to mention the tiny waiting room that was always standing room only.(When I say tiny, I mean 4 chairs in a space the size of a hallway. You could barely walk by someone who was seated)
