I come in often enough for a breakfast item. I love the sausage and egg sandwich on a croissant or just a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel. They have really good smoothies and a great chai latte! The owner is always very sweet and friendly. I do wish they had more of a hot food menu during the winter– like soup or something!

Pretty lousy sandwiches, especially for the price. Not good ingredients, skimpy portion of meat in the sandwich, and not great taste. Not a bad market if you want a quick coffee, but not worth the calories for a lunch.

Nice change of pace from the usual Starbucks. The owner is very sweet and friendly. The coffee is great and I love the breakfast sandwiches too. I usually get a sausage, egg, cheese on a multi-grain/whole wheat bagel and it always has the fluffiest eggs. The sandwich is also decently sized to keep me full throughout busy mornings. Service is fast and everything is reasonably priced. They also have grab-and-go packaged snacks and bottled beverages so I treat this place as a mini convenience store as well. I have been eyeing the pastries they have, so I’ll continue to come back when I’m in the area!

Decided to change up my Starbucks routine and try a local coffee place. I had an iced Americano that was full of great flavor. A friend got an iced coffee, and I thought it was neat that they use coffee cubes in their iced coffee(as opposed to ice cubes). Genius! I also had a whole wheat bagel with egg and cheese. It was good and filling, but nothing extraordinary. The price and service were good as well. If you feel like having your breakfast outside, there’s a nice little courtyard with a fountain right out the door.

This is not the type of place I’d go to if it weren’t the closest thing to my office. The food quality is not bad, but not great, and some of the pre-packaged items are often old and stale given how long they sit there without being purchased. If I were them, I’d reduce the number of offerings and focus more on the top sellers. The food in their tiny case always looks unappetizing to me, and the counter is crowded with a mixture of paperwork, laptops, and blenders. There’s a $ 5 debit card minimum but she has let me slide(both literally and figuratively) more than once when I forgot and just grabbed my card and ran downstairs. You can do street parking on Reinekers or Diagonal close by if you’re driving, or it’s right across the street from the Metro in the courtyard with the fountain. Once inside, there are a few bar stools at counters lining the windows but that’s it. I will say their latte caramella is always good and the taro bubble tea is fantastic, though in the non-summer months and sometimes even in the summer they don’t have the tapioca bubbles available. The ham and cheese and bacon and cheese croissants are tasty and a toasted plain croissant with tax is something like $ 2.03, which is a steal I think. The owner is nice and friendly. Never been there when she wasn’t in, which helps mitigate the attitude from the two other usual employees who never look like they’re happy to be there.

This is a great shop that has a variety of grab-n-go type snacks, but they also offer a great selection of sandwiches, pastries, and flavored tea and coffee drinks. The service is pretty fast and the lady at the front desk is very pleasant. I always get the sausage egg and cheese on Plain bagel and it fills me up on those mornings when I need a little extra. The bagels are consistently fresh and taste good. I haven’t tried their coffee drinks yet, but I enjoy the chai tea a lot. In a pinch, this place is perfect for quick breakfast items.

*This review is for the coffee drinks only; I did not try their sandwiches or other food offerings(but the menu looked appealing).* While running and errand in a nearby office building, I did a Unilocal search for a neighboring coffee shop, as I was about to hit a 3PM slump just before a long drive home. June Coffee popped up, and I decided to stop in for a caffeine fix. I was happy to see that they had a really large selection of healthy/organic snacks, cold drinks from a case, and a full sandwich/soup menu, in addition to their coffee offerings. I was tempted to try something a little more exotic, but I really just needed an iced latte. I did hear a customer in-shop mention that the ice cubes for their iced coffee are actually frozen coffee cubes, which is such an AWESOME idea; I wonder if those were in my iced latte as well, because it really packed a flavorful punch, and never tasted watered-down as I consumed my latte in the summer heat. My soy latte was expertly prepared, with neither too much nor too little espresso — I had two shots. I also chose a locally-made packaged snack to take for later. The staff members(two ladies while I was there) were friendly and efficient; one was making the food orders, and the other was handling the cash register and preparing the beverages. I didn’t have to wait long at all for my order, and when I received it, the straw/napkins/sugar station was conveniently located by the door, well-stocked, and clean. There is also some limited seating inside on stools, or you can sit outside on the plaza of the office building. There’s easy street parking, both metered and not, as well as a Metro station directly across the street on Diagonal Road.

Super fast and exactly what I needed. I ordered a muffin and a small coffee for $ 4.23 and was greeted with a smile. The woman working the counter was very friendly and more than happy to recommend her favorite pastry from the selection a selection that I would consider to be respectable in terms of quality(we’re talking walnut, oreo, banana nut.) This place may be your typical office«grab and go» but it certainly serves its customers well; I will make it a point to start my day here again soon.

The food is mediocre, I came here because I knew I had to eat, not because I wanted to eat here. In fact, I had originally picked a spot just down the steps to eat, but read on Unilocal that they had a pest problem! The lady was nice, the food was decent, and they had a wide variety of things to buy(like energy bars and drinks). There isn’t really anywhere to eat inside, and it felt awkward at their bar area, so I ate outside with all the gnats :(. Seems like more of a place that people go to because they work nearby, than a place to seek out. All in all, I wish the business well.

This was close to the office I was working at for the week. Stopped by for breakfast. Ordered the egg and cheese bagel. Not bad. Lady behind the counter was nice.

Not much seating – this is definitely a grab-and-go place for the offices in the area. Pastries are bland and I can’t comment on the sandwiches, but the coffee’s better than all the Carlyle District Starbucks. I also like the frozen coffee ice cubes for the iced coffee.

Coffee was bad and pastries were bland. Better to go to the Starbucks inside the Hilton nearby.

I like their chai latte. Service is good, staff is friendly, but prices are a little to high for a 5 star.

The turkey express was great and the coffee was decent. The staff was friendly to me while I was there. Wish they had a table or two outside though. As far as coffee shops go, this is a place to run in and grab coffee and not to sit and relax which is what I was looking for.

I would love to give this place 4 stars, but I technically only like two things on their menu, so far! My favorite sandwhich there is the grilled chicken supreme, which is served between two croissant slices. Oh emm gee, it’s good. I’m not a big sandwhich fan, either, so you best believe that thing is tops. During the summer, they also have really good bubble tea. I know, I know, everyone does. But you can see them making it, and then they put these fat colorful straws in your cup(using a clean set of tongs, a nice touch), which makes you feel like they’re not dirty. And that makes me feel good, buddy. If I find that I like two more things on their menu, I will upgrade the rating. Otherwise, this is still a good place for a clean, well-made lunch, that is NOT Wholefoods, which is the dominant eatery in its two block radius.
