Peet’s Coffee & Tea

The service is great ! The workers are very nice. They make the drinks pretty well but it’s not very good. Prices are basically the same as Starbucks and I think Starbucks coffee taste a little better than peets. Their desserts/​pastries are nice. I’ve had the amaretto brownie and it was kind of good, didn’t have a brownie feature though, it was just soft and not chewy at all. I wish there drink were better because I would love to go to a place other than Starbucks around here.

Walked into this place this morning and was pleasantly surprised! Very cozy on the inside and sort of reminiscent of a Starbucks. I ordered the Coconut Cremé Latte and the Simply Oatmeal. Both great choices and I definitely plan on returning.

The staff was a little rude, but I was pleased to find plenty of seating on a Saturday morning! Then I took a sip of my $ 5 Latte and discovered it had MILK, not soy milk. Another thing is: the place is new, roomy, and very pleasant… BUT the cleaning staff is not doing their job especially since it’s not even busy!!! There are bread crumbs and empty sugar bags in several places. Not to be a snob, but if I’m paying for Starbucks prices, I rather expect Starbucks service and Starbucks quality coffee. I will drive 3 miles next time to my favorite Starbucks next time

Decided to give the place another try. I noticed the place is noticeably cleaner, more crowded – nearly all seats are taken – and they gave me my Latte with soy milk as requested. yay!
The only complaint I have now is: need to turn the heat up! It’s 45 °F today and I’m wearing a thin Columbia wind breaker inside and I’m so cold, I’m shivering! I looked around and saw everyone’s got their outside winter coats on.
I’ll upgrade my review to 3 stars.

A bad manager can take a good staff and destroy it with irrational decisions and then lie to cover up her own wrongdoing. Shame Peet’s! Shame! No wonder so many Peet’s go under almost as soon as they open.

I was so excited when Peet’s coffee opened so close to my home. Finally, a place to sit, read and study on weekends. Today is my first visit. The staff was a little rude, but I was pleased to find plenty of seating on a Saturday morning! I’m not trying to be high maintenance here, but I’m lactose intolerant and simply detest the taste of dairy.

so good! I’ve been here multiple times. in the morning, afternoon etc and the service has always been amazing. I almost didn’t want to write a review and just keep this my own little secret. I come here to study since it’s walking distance from my house (kinda) & i’ve found it doesn’t get crowded like Starbucks does and has tons of study space. & honestly the black tie is better than half of the drinks at Starbucks. highly recommend!

Great location. I enjoyed how clean and bright it is. Will definitely come back. Coffee was good. My cookie was a little hard, but still good.

I really enjoy this coffee shop. The employees are friendly and patient (I didn’t know what I wanted :)). My latte was delicious, though the maple flavor faded after the first half of the drink. The ham&cheese croissant was deeeeelicious! It could’ve used a tad more filling, but that’s probably just me being greedy. ;)
I will definitely be back.

What a great place to hang out and study or just eat and talk with your friends! The dream to your a really amazing and I really like to sit here and just enjoy the hot drink

SO HAPPY another Peet’s has opened in the area, particularly since the one on Route 1 closed down (not sure why exactly that happened, I presume it had something with Starbucks competition in the same area).
At any rate, love this location, staff, and of course the coffee that is superior to any other. They do a great job every time I’m in there and the coffee is always fresh and delicious, per the Peet’s standard. We even got a couple coffees on the house (free) for Christmas (eve)!
Keep up the great work and continue opening more locations! More people need to experience the superiority of Peet’s coffee and service.

This was my first visit to Peet’s Coffee & Tea. My visit was to meet a friend and have a little girl talk. I had the Spiced Hot Cider and it was absolutely fantastic. Not overly sweet. I was quite impressed that they have allowed a non-​profit organization, Ainsley’s Angels, to be able to have a fund-​raiser there. Welcome to Virginia Peet’s Coffee & Tea! I hope you open a shop in Lakeridge, VA soon!

I went to Peet’s Coffee 11÷21÷15 for a late morning coffee break while I was running an errand in the shopping center. I wasn’t sure if I’d like Peet’s when I go to this particular shopping center I usually grab my coffee from Wegman’s.
I liked the ambiance of Peet’s Coffee. It might not be great for studying because there didn’t appear to be any small or tucked away spaces that were quiet. However, it did appear there was ample sitting to enjoy your coffee by yourself or with a friend (s).
The customer service was excellent.
I saw lots of delicious baked treats. It looked they also had some warm sandwiches available.
I would love to give Peet’s Coffee a higher rating. However my experience at this Peet’s was good but there was nothing that was outstanding.
I am not a huge fan of their coffee itself (which has much more to do with my personal palate than the quality of their coffee).
In a nutshell, if you’re in the shopping center at one of the surrounding stores and need a caffeine fix or a snack I wouldn’t hesitate to go to Peet’s but don’t expect to linger at this location.

Great service and good, bold coffee. The staff are always friendly and helpful with the menu. I love the maple latte and their caramel macchiato is good as well. The javivas are their version of a frappuccino-​wish they had more varieties. Slightly less pricy than Starbucks and a great location.

This coffee shop was a great find! Very cozy and quiet place where my friend and I can drink coffee and chat. The employees are friendly and service is fast. My friend recommended an iced coffee drink called «The Black Tie» and wow it’s amazingly good! Now I’m hooked. I’m eager to try new drinks now. So glad we found this place and will definitely be back!

Better coffee than Starbucks. Try it, also a nice place. Good price, the place is clean friendly people, WiFi.

Really clean and prices are reasonable. Enjoy the comfy seats. Also has a big table in the back for group meetings. This place isn’t very crowded and great if you wanted to come read or study. The only bad thing is the parking but who doesnt enjoy a short walk

Pumpkin spice latte was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is awesome.

This place is great! I’ve been going in the morning and have been able to get a coffee super fast. The people have been super friendly. Will definitely continue to come here.

Peets Coffee and Tea was a welcome find when I visited the east coast during a windy, rainy cold tropical storm. The coffee and tea selections at Peets are 5 stars. They have unique combinations and blends to fit any taste. Their pastry and food choices left a little to be desired. I would’ve like a few more choices in this area. At this particular location, the employees were friendly and helpful in guiding me to my coffee choice.
I tried a Black Tie. It’s a cold brewed coffee that starts with a dollop of sweetened condensed milk, iced cold brewed coffee, chicory syrup, and a float of half and half on top. Oh My Word! Simply heaven in a cup. Sweet, decadent, with that licorice taste from the chicory. It was a wonderful drink! Now, I just need to find a Peets in my city.

A coffee shop is always a plus in my book. This store is cute and coffee is fresh and strong! I probably won’t make a special trip to come here but if I happen to be at wegmans I may stop in although the grocery has a decent coffee bar as well.

My new favorite place! Peets coffee in hilltop village just opened this past Monday. The place is brand new so it’s super clean and the employees are very friendly. I love how this store is not too far from me and it’s something different to try. The iced coffee and Javivas are so good! I definitely recommend the Maple javiva and the iced tea!
