The prices are a little high, but we always get excellent service and they have a great selection of dance gear. I also used to come here to get fun, unique birthday party gifts when my daughter attended birthday parties for her friends.

Awesome service! I needed new character shoes but wanted to try them on before buying. I called Robcyn’s before I went so I could be sure they had what I wanted in stock, since the reviews made it sound like mostly a children’s store.
A lot of their stuff is child-​oriented, but they had a decent selection of adult dance shoes and supplies as well — I wanted nude T-​strap character shoes, which not only did they have, but they offered to set them aside for me without my asking (I don’t think the demand for nude T-​strap character shoes is that high that they’d sell out before I showed up later that same day, but it was nice that they offered by default!).
When I arrived, they were super friendly and helpful, and even mentioned that they could order me a different pair if the ones they had weren’t to my liking, since the shoes I tried were the only T-​straps they had in-​store. It turned out fine, and I love my new character shoes, but I wanted to mention this by way of highlighting how wonderful their customer service is!

We were referred to Robcyn’s by BalletNova. It has become our go-​to store for dance related needs for my daughters. They also carry a cute selection of toys, clothing and accessories. The customer service is wonderful!

Our daughters dance instructor referred us to this shop. They provided friendly efficient service. We were greeted as soon as we entered the shop. They had everything we needed for my daughter to get outfitted for her new ballet and tap class. She (my daughter) has a large shoe size for her age (although they tell me that most children’s shoe sizes are larger nowadays) and we were so please that they had her size in stock for both shoes. I thought their pricing was fair for all items we purchased. They referred us to the shoe repair place right in the same shopping center to have the taps added to her dance shoes.

We came in to buy my daughter’s ballet clothes. Their was a lady, who I don’t know her name, who helped us get what we needed and was able to get in and out. She was very friendly. This store also has lots of cool toys, hair accessories and a bunch of other things.

Great customer service. Went in for dance tights and walked out a couple minutes later with everything I had plus a conversation with the lady working. Glad that I found this store. Will be visiting again for gifts. Loved some of the personalized things they had and the toys! I agree with the other reviewer, the clothes and the window look a bit thrift shoppy and the flow of the store is horrible but it’s a small business that has been around FOREVER and I’m here to support them. In all these years, I’ve never even gone inside. Glad I fixed that today.

The ladies that own/​work in the store are lovely and always willing to help. I’ve purchased a few toys for my son and hair bows for my daughter. Prices for the most part are competitive — although they have several Melissa and Doug items that you can find at Marshall’s for way cheaper– but having worked at small boutiques I get that this really can’t be helped.
They have some cute custom order items but although I have not purchased one yet it’s something I will probably do in the future when I need something.
I didn’t give this store five stars because after having done visual merchandising the layout of the store isn’t my favorite. The store doesn’t flow great and I can honestly say I have minimal Interest in looking through the clothes because even though there may be nice items it’s set up like a thrift store. Which by the way is sort of what the window looks like.
But if you want to support small business shop here :)

Every time my 4 year-​old has a birthday party to go to, we stop by Robcyn’s to pick out a present. They a good selection of toys and we always find a great gift for boys and girls, from babies to elementary school kids. They have free gift wrapping too!

Wonderful Customer Service and since I’m new to the area, I appreciated how helpful they were with information about ballet, additional activities, and preschool info.

Came here to get ballet shoes, tights, and leotards for my daughters.
The staff were extremely helpful, and when my daughters shoe size was not available they ordered it for us!
My only complaint is that the shoe area is a little cramped. Other than that it was great!
