I want to give this place a higher rating, I really do. Their selection is fantastic and unlike a lot of stores the online selection matches the in-store selection. When you get one of their sales reps who is knowledgeable about the products you get a wealth of information presented in a friendly and informative way. However, their«take a number» system is a JOKE. In other visits I’ve given them a pass, chalking my long waits up to a rush of customers but during my most recent visit I started actively paying attention after they flat-out skipped my number while I stood directly in front of the counter waiting for them. I wasn’t in a rush, so I just walked over and took another number. The ticker said 82 and my new number was 87. Doing a quick count I saw that there were 9 blue-shirted employees working and 12 customers including myself. Some of these customers were pairs(parents with kids, etc.) so the actual ratio was 9 employees for 7 individual parties of customers, some of whom hadn’t even taken a number yet. Sounds like a pretty good ratio right? Only my actual wait time, going from 82 to 87, was just over 90 minutes. At 2:00pm, on a Thursday. If I’d been able to find the boots I was after anywhere else within a 40 minute drive I would’ve left but being the optimist I am I waited and at several points wondered if they’d just given up on calling numbers at all. Two of the people ahead of me left before their number was called, 4 of the employees behind the counter worked *really hard* at doing plainly non-essential work, the rest wandered around aimlessly or chatted with each other. When I did finally get a chance to try on the boots I was after, a young lady asked the guy who was helping me if she could try on another style. He told her that she’d have to take a number(best of luck with that) and then just kind of awkwardly ignored her and loomed over me while I tried mine on. I’ll probably still shop here, but less so now if I can help it. The plodding, reluctant pace of the service that I’ve experienced, where most of the employees are only motivated to help you quickly if they’re escorting you to the cash register, is a big part of why Circuit City became known as the showroom. It’s a great business and I really want to support them, but I’m no longer inclined to let them unapologetically waste my time.

Great selection but terrible service. We put in a order and waited for an hour. Then we checked in again with them to see what was taking our order so long. After an hour wait, we found out that they did not even put the order in to get our supplies. They then told us it would only be an extra ten minute wait but ended up to be another 40 minutes. The service needs to change because it is just terrible

What can I say about evike? This is my go to store for airsoft despite being the furthest from me. They have the best deals, best selection, and the nicest customer service staff in SoCal. Last time I was there Braden helped me and he was so knowledgeable, so professional, and made my whole experience super fun. Evike is awesome!

Super Long wait. Huge warehouse with wide variety of items, good parking and good location. The only reason I am giving this place a 3 is because I cannot give it a 2.5 the wait time to have an employee help us on a Non-busy Friday afternoon was well over 2 hours! So if you have nothing but time to kill… then you are at the right place for your airsoft needs.

My son’s experience: THREE out of 3 orders with problems. Slow to pack and ship. Quality control needs work! 1) Drove over an hour to get there, waited over 2 hrs. for our # to be called. The employee seemed very knowledgeable, took time to explain everything, gave advice. Expensive gun… inner and outer barrel came off/fell off during first use in actual play.(Gun was a Christmas gift so there was a delay between buying and using, putting gun out of easy-replace warranty). 2) Mail order. Stock on new(different model) gun wouldn’t lock into place. We fixed it(but why are defective items shipped). 3) Ordered 8″ revolver in black for birthday. A 4″ revolver in silver arrived. HOW do you confuse these? There goes the weekend game we’d planned. PITA to drive down or ship back, wait for them to fix the order, and hope they get it right this time.

Awesome service. I was in LA for work and my boyfriend needed some gears and supplies he couldn’t find in Brazil and he found everything on . I think the guy that helped me was Miguel, he was very quick in finding everything in a really short time! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs airsoft supplies. Okay, so a lot of people complain about the service here, but I have nothing but great things to say about these folks! I was working on a film project and needed some last minute items, even though I was totally stressed I got amazing help! The first sales rep that helped me was Braden, I showed him pictures of real guns we had and he found replicas that were as close as we could get! I finished and then found myself needing to rush back in for some camo, Steven(another rep) was a huge help! He gave me some background on the proper camo we needed for the shoot! What a great staff! This is a must for any prop department! I’m telling all my guys about Evike!!!

Michael gave excellent customer service. Helped me find everything I needed and definitely convinced me to buy a few extra things. Very knowledgeable staff member, clearly a person with a lot of experience in airsoft. Michael is the main reason this is a 5 star review. I have been here numerous times with mixed results, but after meeting Michael I know who I will ask for next time. The store system is alright, it takes a while to get helped even though you may know exactly what you want. It’s possible more staff members like Michael could solve this problem. There is plenty of parking and the store is easy to find. Be careful about coming during peak hours, it does get extremely busy. Even during off-peak hours, budget 1 – 2 hours to make sure you aren’t rushed.

My wife and I first visited here just to look for face protection. They went beyond my expectations. Excellent customer service provided by Steven. A enthusiastic, informative, persistent individual who was trying to help me find the right eye protection for me. I even tested the gun I was interested in. So this five-star tale only has one hero and his name is George and I was lucky enough to have him help me purchase some weapons today. OK, I’m sure that I came at the perfect time to avoid a crowd(Thursday at 10:30 in the morning) but George spent over two hours helping me assemble the weapons I needed. I’m the Propmaster on a TV show and, while I know a fair amount about weapons, I am by no means an expert in all weapons and not that familiar with Airsoft«lookalikes». George showed me what my options were buying new weapons but also helped me put together some good options from the Evike«boneyard»…guns that are used and/or not fully functional. He explained Airsoft basics and safety and even took me to the indoor shooting range… which was very impressive and more than a little fun. Between the HUGE amount of inventory Evike has, the computer center(with massive aquarium) where you can shop/browse inventory and George’s impeccable customer service and familiarity with the products… it was worth the drive to Alhambra.

This store get one star due to large amount of guns, parts and items. But lost 4 stars due to the very bad service. I have been in line for about 15 min. With 2 employees just standing in the back looking at all the other customers walk around. No supervision, management or any type of order is seen here. They are walking around with their heads cut off. Very sad to see. Please… this store needs help. It has been 25 min before i was seen. Now that is sad.

I went into Evike recently as a complete airsoft noob and worked with Steven(I think). He patiently answered every one of the 1000 questions I had. Recommended a number of Guns at different price points, and even let me test fire the ones I was interested in. He pointed out the pros and cons of different models and didn’t try to up sell me at all. He was super knowledgable and really friendly and did a great job at making sure I had everything I would need to get up and running. My one complaint with my Evike experience was that it was a bit slow. From the time I decided what all I wanted, I had to wait for the warehouse to pull the items. It took quite a while. Once they finally pulled my order I then had to go to wait for a cashier to ring me out. If they could streamline their warehouse and checkout processes, it would be awesome.

Almost forgot to put up a review but I went here, I forgot when but it was recent, and although customer service does take a little while, it’s worth it, I got to see the tavor 21, and shoot it, but was so excited, I forgot to see the other guns that I was wanting to see and maybe buy,(my dad would, I’m NOT18 yet:/, overall 4⁄5 stars Would be better if customer service/support was faster or consistent:/ I’m going to Airsoftcon 2015!
