I forgot how these neighborhood market versions of Walmart were so quaint. The associates here were super friendly as one directed me to where I needed to be versus just giving me vague directions. And by the way, the auto section here was pretty sad. lol. It’s like a sub-section of a shelf. I was hoping to be in and out of this place since I needed some wipper blades, but the nice gal informed me that they had exactly one blade that was probably clearanced out. Yeah. Okay… Parking was pretty plentiful as this location was amongst other stores along a strip.

This is my first time in a Neighborhood market. I was at first hopeful. I did not see the long lines that I had been a custom to in the regular full line stores here in Georgia. Once inside I soon lost interest. The selection was very limited, food prices were nothing special, other then perhaps the beer aisle, which was well priced. Once at the register I noted that most all were self check out. I tried the self check out and waited 3 minutes for someone to come from nowhere to check my ID. My time is money. Wal Mart, at all stores in Georgia simply does not respect my time. I will not be back.

Just recently moved to the area and I have been to the walmart on Mansell, the one on Windward, and this location. I know that this isn’t the superstore like the other locations but I don’t think that should effect the customer service of the employees. I have shopped here about 5 times and have had an awesome experience and great customer service every single time. I wish I could say that about the other locations.

The good… open 24 hours, offers a wide selection, clean since it is new, a great pharmacy which sends you text messages once your prescription is filled and close to where I live. Bad…doesn’t have a good flow which makes it difficult to find things compared to other grocery stores. Deli section is horrendous. Not even on the same playing field with Publix. Subpar employees who don’t seem to care. The cashier I had the other night scanned my items at a snails pace. When he spoke it sounded as if he had marbles in his mouth. Perhaps it is the younger generation but the work ethic looks poor. I will continue to shop here every now and then due to the affordable pricing and 24 hours.

Not really sure why we needed one of these when they could and should have built something like a fresh market, but we have ventured into wallyworld now twice, and Ive not been overly impressed. it has an odd set up, and other then the staff at the register ive never seen anyone else who works there. It does have the convenience of being 24 hours(i believe) and a back up in case publix is out of something… but i don’t make it a regular shopping location…

It’s Walmart without the monstrosity of it all. Very good for the neighborhood so that I don’t have to run to Publix for food staples. Nice staff, clean, and easy to navigate. I didn’t try any of the produce, though, to be honest. And if you’re looking for fresh butcher, deli, bakery, those are not options here. They do have a pharmacists, and a few aisles of drugstore products. This is really great for you to run in and out of and not get distracted by all the oohs and ahhs that usually catch my eye. Overall — glad they came to this part of town.
