Mary Falkingham Floral Designs

Mary is a top notch floral designer with an exceptional eye for color, scale and floral combinations. She and her phenomenal team did the florals and accessory rentals for my daughter’s wedding at the Atheneum. The designs that she delivered were beyond any expectations we had. The result of her work was stunning and truly made the evening have a magical quality to it. Mary and her team are much more than florists– they are true designers!

We got married in a garden setting (the oh-​so-​pretty LA River Center and Gardens) that only need a bit of touching up since, because of holding our wedding in the winter (granted, a very warm SoCal winter), not a lot of that garden was in bloom yet.
We first had a meeting with Mary’s assistant Tim, and we talked about types of flowers I like/don’t like, a color scheme, how many personals we’d need, any extra décor items we’d like to add, etc. I/​We honestly didnt have too many preferences aside from getting as much volume/“look” as possible for our money and Tim and Mary were SO helpful in making suggestions to guide us toward what, in the end, was an amazing floral production.
Mary’s team were true professionals; Mary herself is an encyclopedia of flower knowledge! They followed up the week before the wedding to confirm all details, made last-​minute changes to the centerpiece count without issue, never tried to sell me more than I felt I’d need or would overwhelm my budget. There were minor communication lapses earlier in the process (eg instead of an updated invoice I was accidentally sent a copy of the original) but I never felt out of touch or anxious about their getting down to business.
