I order my food to go every time. I am not exaggerating…4 times out of 5 it is made wrong. Last time I was there I even asked the manager to keep an eye on my order ANDITWASWRONG. For example, I ordered a pizza with extra extra roasted garlic and guess what… not a drop of garlic was on the pizza!

We recived the worse service from Debbie C. tonight. Our pizza was burnt but we didn’t return it because it took so long just to take our original order. Then my soup was cold and it took ½ hr and a reminder from me in order to get my soup. My pizzuki came but i had to wait for the ice cream. What??? We ended up spending a total of 1 ½ hr at the restaurant for pizza, 2 soups and a hamburger. Oh and the bacon on the burger was all fat and not fully cooked. I recommend others not to waste your time coming to this facility.

We have eaten here quite a bit. The food is fine but the service has been going downhill. This location just doesn’t have enough servers and service people. It is almost impossible to get a timely refill on a drink. Today was worse then usual four or five waiters for the whole restaurant. The manager tried to help. He brought our food and it was obvious the flatbread was badly burned but he ignored it and ran to help someone else. We have decided to give this location of BJ’s a rest for a few months and then try again.

Marcella, The staff member I brought to lunch attempted to call your establishment and the phone appears to be broken. Not quite sure of the issue…

We have been sitting here for 58 minutes. If you weren’t hungry when you got, you will be by the time your food gets here. Awful.

Long wait for any party of 5 or more! No bigger tables or booths. Squeezing us in a smaller both. Terrible! Not for Friday or Saturdays!

Loved it. Derek was awesome and very helpful. If we needed anything he and Taylor our waitress were there to help. Also the manager Tanner was amazing as well. He was very attentive to our needs. Thank you everyone see you next time.

What do we have to do to get a good restaurant in YL or Anaheim Hills? They can’t even put in a real BJ’s???

Visited today and I must say, quality service through and through!!! Ordered our pizza and it came out to us opposite of our order, our server Taylor apologized went back and requested another pizza then brought over manager Leon. They both apologized offered us the previous pizza to take home and enjoy tomorrow and asked if we would like anything else as we waited for our pizza. This is what I call caring for your customers. Taylor you’re awesome, Leon you’re definitely the definition of a manager!!! Kudos to BJs corporate for hiring quality people such as Taylor and Leon. We will make the trek to Anaheim Hills for our BJs meals because the BJs at the block has had terrible service our past 3 visits…

I am SO disappointed! I absolutely love BJ’s and tonight our waiter failed to speak to us after about 15 minutes. I understand it’s a Saturday night and they are busy but when you speak to every single table around us and continue to ignore us, now that’s disrespectful. The poor kid was struggling but that’s where the manager needs to come in and help the crew out.

What happened to BJ’s? Years ago I enjoyed their food. Now, it’s sub-ordinary and not worth the price. I’ve frequented this particular BJ’s twice recently and don’t wanna come back. Sure the interior is nice and spacious but so what if the food sucks. The first time I was really hungry so I ordered their Hickory Brisket and Bacon Burger. The picture showed a hearty burger topped with a generous amount of brisket but when the actual burger came out, there was barely any brisket with barely any bbq sauce. It was dry and forgettable. The fries were the best part. Came back in a few weeks and sat outside for dinner. Great ambience however, our server Debbie had a short term memory. We were the only ones seated outside and she greeted us and took our drink order. Several other people sat down later, However, she brought out their drinks first and took their orders before coming to our table. WTH? She didn’t check up on us as a proper server should’ve. I ordered the«New Triple Decker» sandwich which claimed to have ham, roast beef, turkey, cheese and veggies«PILEDHIGH» on a hoagie. What actually showed up was a puny sandwich with get this: 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of roast beef, and one slice of turkey folded in half. Talk about false advertising. There was nothing piled high about this sandwich. Just dry as rubber. Had to ask for extra Italian dressing to make it Again the fries were the best part of this meal. The wifey wasn’t hungry so she ordered their Tuscan Tomato Bisque soup. It’s a fancy name but tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup with a layer of oil sitting on top. So appetizing, she was done after one spoonful. What happened to you BJ’s? Please bring your old food back!

Mason is the man. Very knowledgable about great beers and a genuine human being altogether. Hard to find such great service now a days but he has it down. Thanks for making our experience so much better! You’ll be successful with anything you do if you keep being you!

BJ’s is BJ’s to me. This review is strictly on service: Last night I came here for dinner with my girlfriend and her parents. When we put ourselves down for a table the kid at the podium acted as if it was an inconvenience to him when we asked him a couple questions. This was NOT a good first impression, but i refused to let it set the tone for my first experience at this location. Our server, Mason, was amazing! Seriously! He was very knowledgeable on the beer selection. He was so enthusiastic when answering our questions that I asked what his favorite beer was and I ordered it. Great choice! Sadly, I forgot the name of it. Great servers who are genuinely kind are hard to come by these days and Mason is one of them. Keep it up! We’ll definitely be sitting his section again in the future,

Consistency is key, and this BJ’s doesn’t forget it. They are consistent in terrible service. I have never had a speedy or attentive dining experience here, and yet we keep coming back. Maybe it’s the hit or miss food, maybe it’s the ease and proximity. Either way what they can consistently provide is the worst service in north Orange County. Cue the managers lip service apology, and nothing actually done to fix the problem. Update 3÷26÷16 Day 12: we’ve been trapped in this hellhole for almost a fortnight. I’ve seen wait staff in passing, their apathetic stares only cement my fears, we will die here. I subtly set my empty water glass on the edge of the table, attempting to catch the eye of a passing waiter, they avert their gaze. I ordered a beer last week, haven’t seen or heard from it since, I fear my tatonka stout lost. Johnson sent out a search party for our food three days ago, I can see him from the table, he’s only half way to the summit. Updates to follow if I can find the strength.

This was not my favorite Bj’s experience. A group of 5 of us went for an early dinner. I had not been to this BJ’s location but found the interior to be new and inviting. It was really clean too! The bar area was nice, but I didn’t have time to inspect closely as we were quickly seated outdoors. Our servers were nice and accommodating. They turned on the fireplace at our request then turned it off when we got too warm. A couple in or party are on on weight watchers so requested changes to their meals. Again the staff was accommodating. He went to the chef to find out the number of ounces the salmon weighed, etc. Also, our waiter tolerated my husband’s sense of humor very well which is not always easy to do. One star for that! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal but me. I decided in advance that I wanted a big juicy burger. I ordered the classic and found it to be average. I could have been more adventurous, but I was in the mood for a plainer burger. I’d give the burger a grade of C. The burger was dry and cold but I didn’t want to send it back. I was hungry! I think the thing that tuned me off the most was the plating… or the lack of a plate. My burger was served on a metal tray with paper on top, just the way you’d be served barbecue in Texas. Presentation counts and for me, the tray was too darned casual. I’d definitely try BJ’s again but would try something more adventurous and maybe a couple of beers too.

I went to this place a couple more times and things are improving, the service was good so was the food. Their flat breads are good so was the pan seared tuna salad. They have Guinness on tap that is pretty good, this beer doesn’t travel well, best is to have it in Ireland if you get a chance.

Bjs is located in the Target plaza, next to Cholos. Pretty disappointed with lunch. My husband ordered a burger plate, but it was confusing. It’s listed twice on the menu, but with different prices. Server didn’t know much to clarify. I ordered the mini pizza and soup lunch special. The clam chowder is salty and tasted canned. It doesn’t even come with crackers. The mini pizza is one topping, but whoever made it was sloppy. Half the pizza didn’t have cheese and the pepperoni was only in the middle. I had several bites of just dough. On the menu given at the table, it said lunch specials are everyday, but the menu at the front of the door said Mon-Fri. Will give them another chance, but still disappointed. Hoping they will improve.

The corn fritters were amazing! Best appetizer on the menu that we’ve tried so far. Burger was undercooked the time I ordered one. Sandwiches are okay but a bit dry. Decent pizza. For the price, it seems like they should be slightly larger or have more toppings. The outdoor seating is pretty with the fireplace and the indoor seating is okay too but some of the tables are too close together and it feels cramped. The only reason I occasionally sit at the close bar tables is if I want to watch more than one sport at the same time. The TV layout is definitely a nice feature of the interior. The mini pizookie is a great alternative to the regular size pizookie at the other BJs because if you’re full it’s not too much dessert. Overall an average pizza joint for the price. I would give them 4 stars for better quality cooking(less salt and fat, more spices for flavor would do a lot of the menu items some good) or for lower prices for the current menu as is but there are healthier tastier options out here for the same price point or less.
