Came here while back to watch Mamba’s final game. They wouldn’t turn on the sound or captions though. :/tried the Irish nachos which were pretty decent. The waffle sandwich was just so-so. I had my food cold though because I had to take a work call … So it might be more impressive than what I experienced. I had a couple brews which were the best part of dining here.

Three words: MOUTH. WATERING. GOOD. I came here on a Thursday afternoon with some friends. It was our first time here, so we were soooo overjoyed with all the choices. This location is a good, medium sized store. Lots of bar seating, and an outdoor patio. Upon walking in, we were seated immediately in the outdoor section. Menu items range from dessert waffles to lunch waffles. Being that it’s my first time, I couldn’t help but choose the«Are you Cereal??» Waffle. There are various cereals you can choose from to have on your waffle, but I chose Cap’n Crunch. I was afraid that it might be a little too much on the sweet side, but that wasn’t the case at all. The waffle is served with a creamy milk-like drizzle, vanilla ice cream, and the cereal of your choice. The waffle batter wasn’t too overbearing in flavor, which is why I think it worked so well with all of the toppings in there. If it’s your first time here, I would definitely recommend getting this first. We also ordered the Tator Tots to share as an appetizer. Pretty standard, and the tots were cooked to a nice crisp which I like. This place reminds me a lot of Bruxies, which is another popular establishment for waffle sandwiches. However, the Iron Press definitely takes the cake. Prices are better, portions are bigger, and the menu selection is wider. Even though this place is a bit farther from me, I’d definitely make the drive out to come here again!

Highlight: tatertots I got the chicken and waffle sandwich. The waffle was soggy due to the coleslaw and the chicken was very thin… mostly breading. Worst Service Ever. The waiter who took my order gave my wife and attitude b/c she asked for ketchup to eat with the tatertots. WTF If you want good chicken and waffle sandwich go to Bruxie.

You wouldn’t think this place offers tasty waffles. Most people go here for the beer but my girlfriend and I came here for the food. I got Count of Monte Cristo and my girlfriend got the turkey BLT. It wasn’t what I expected, it’s greasy but it was still good. My girlfriend loved what she ordered & they put a lot of meat. I would definitely go back and try something different. The workers were all great and very attentive. Cost wise, it’s decent $ 10 each waffle. Tip: very messy.

It’s on a corner and has a small bar area but there are four large tables outside. The burgers themselves are not too large, but i shared a Wacon Wurger and a Belgium waffle with my boyfriend which worked out fine. Their waffles are perfectly crispy and fluffy, soo good.

I came here last Friday for dinner. My bf found this place on Unilocal and commented on how this is the«more awesome version Bruxie» and I couldn’t have agreed more. The Iron Press is located in the corner near the back entrance on the second floor, across from the juice press. It looks like just a bar, but it’s so much more. Seating for the restaurant is minimal, but they offer to wrap the food up so you can take it to eat at other seating areas in the packing house. We just sat near the bar. After looking at pictures on Unilocal,I knew I wanted to try the bird in hand(crispy chicken bits served with a waffle cone stuffed with spicy cole slaw and mashed potatoes). The chicken bits were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. You can dip it in the jalapeños syrup sauce(a must!) for an extra kick. I also drizzled the sauce in my waffle cone, not because it lacked in flavor, but because why not?! The waffle cone stuffed with spicy slaw and mashed potatoes is ingenious! Sure it was a little messy to eat but very delicious! Highly recommend this dish! I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes from here.

A random work lunch turned into a dining adventure when we came to the Iron Press! Upstairs, tucked away in the corner of the Anaheim Packing District, you might walk past this place thinking it’s a mini pub, but they’ve got far more than beer up their sleeves! Savory or sweet, you’re going to love anything you pick off the menu! We tried the bird in the hand(a waffle cone filled with fried chicken, spicy slaw and mashed potatoes), and their cereal surprise(a sweet waffle covered in cream icing, ice cream, and berry Captain Crunch)! Seriously magical, and even when they’re slammed on a Saturday afternoon, their staff is the best!

You definitely don’t want to come here if you’re on a diet… That being said, I like The Iron Press, because it’s a cool spot to grab a beer, some carb-loaded food, and post up in the balcony area. The beer selection is pretty good; they offer a range of both popular craft brews and some slightly more underground stuff. Good beer makes me a happy girl, so moving on… The food is unique and delicious. I keep saying I’ll try the Belgian waffles… They look(and smell) divine, but my sweet tooth has been nonexistent lately, so I’m patiently waiting for my appetite for something sweet to come back. I do love the Fowl Play. I had no idea what«Irish nachos» are the first time I ordered them, but you can’t really go wrong with buttermilk fried chicken and fries. I can do without the cabbage though. The Hash it Out, is my favorite. I change it up with different cheeses and meats each time, so I keep falling back in love with it… And out of love with my arteries… sorry to my cardiovascular system. Lastly, service is a hit or miss. I notice when I sit outside, which is pretty much every time, the server/bartender forgets about us pretty much as soon as the food arrives. Maybe it’s out of sight, out of mind? Not too sure, but I don’t normally come to the Packing District for a quick meal. I come to relax with friends and have a good time, so I don’t mind the slow service all that much.

What a perf place for some waffles and craft beer! My friends and I stopped by for some brunch on our last day on SoCal. They have bar seating all around and it’s a great, chill spot! My friends ordered the Fried Chicken and the Count of Monte Crosto. I tried both of their dishes and they were both yum! The Fried Chicken waffles were great and spicy! And the other one was flavorful and savory. I ordered the Wacon Burger and that was great also! I loved the syrup they provided and it still made the waffle burgers taste delicious! Service was great. The two gentlemen were nice and made sure your glasses had enough water in it. We didn’t try the craft beers, but there was definitely a good amount of people ordering it. The food was amazing also and I’d definitely come back when I make another SoCal trip from the bay!

Today was my first time dining into The Iron Press. The service was good as well 8) I ordered the chicken waffle sandwhich and let me tell you, it was HELLA spicey! I was informed that it was spicy through the menu but I didn’t know it would be that spicy! I am a person who does not eat spicy food much but only a little bit. The maple sauce and waffle has jalapeño in it so DANNGGG esp the maple sauce! The chicken was so yummy as well! The sandwhich was really good despite it beating me! Lol The Lavender tea I was not use to. I mean it wasn’t bad but preferred more agave in it!

I stumbled upon The Iron Press about a year ago and have been coming back quite frequently ever since. They have a great selection of craft beer and a great bar/“gastropub” type menu. The only food item that I ordered here on this visit was the Irish Nachos. «Tater tots» are topped with cheese, bacon(or it may be corned beef), jalapenos, cabbage. BOMB! As far as the other menu items, the waffles that were coming out looked amazing! I didn’t want to order too much food because, some of those beers are filling and my focus was on the brews not the food this time. The bar area is quite small and on busy days expect to stand shoulder to shoulder with someone, but keep in mind you can also get your beer in a plastic cup and walk around the Packinghouse. I always get my beer in a plastic cup because, there’s always live music and I always gravitate towards the tunes. The outdoor area has plenty of picnic style tables with waiter/waitress service. I love this place! My only wish is they have a standard pour size. Depending on how much you want in your plastic cup they charge you different prices. I wish they just sold fixed sizes depending on the ABV like other establishments. Other than that, I highly recommend it if you are a craft beer junky like me. Next time I come here, I will order one of their waffles!

Came here right when they opened on a Saturday. I was hungry! The staff here is so friendly with each visit and are great at recommending beers if you can’t decide on specific one. Many great choices and selections. Ciders, IPAs, wheats, stouts, etc. This day I drank a pineapple cider(okay, more than one of them). I forgot the brand name, but it was delicious and had enough to get a good buzz. To eat, I had the Wacon Wurger. It felt funny to stay out loud, haha. I have a thing for garlic aioli and that flavor was so good on the carmalized onions, and meat of the buger. It came with a syrup side sauce which I first found odd to eat with a burger. However, it went well conisdering the buns are waffles. Also had a side of their waffle fries with ketchup. Always a fave. My friend and I were able to beat the lunch rush crowd when it came to seating. After many visits to the Packing District, The Iron Press is definitely my overall favorite place to eat/drink there.

During a short trip to L.A., I made a quick trip to the Packing District for dinner. I wasn’t starving but I knew I wanted to try something else off The Iron Press’s(TIP) menu. It’s so hard not to get something I already like from here. Yet, there’s so much on the menu to try that I get really indecisive. I went for dinner around 6 p.m. on a Saturday evening, and the bar seating was already pretty full. But, there was a stool at the end of the counter for one person, and since I was by myself, that sufficed. When I vacation alone, I pretty much go with what I’m feeling … and I was feeling dessert for dinner, basically because I didn’t get to try any of the desserts from TIP on my last(first) visit. Plus, I knew that the entrees would fill me up and I just wanted something sweet. Of course, though, there are numerous options for sweet treats on the dessert portion of the menu, so I had to decide which one I wanted most. After much contemplation, I decided on the«Are You Cereal?,» but even at that, I could barely decide what flavor I wanted. Before I had time to change my mind again, though, my dessert entrée was out and one bite in, all my fears were relieved. Definitely can’t wait to come back here and try the rest of the items on the dessert menu. Here’s what it entailed: «Are You Cereal?»: You get your choice of an OREO, Cap ‘n Crunch or Cinnamon Toast Crunch infused waffle with milk drizzle and vanilla ice cream. The chocoholic in me wanted OREO, so that’s what I ended up with. But, I’ve seen lots of photos of both, Cap ‘n Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, so I’m resolved to try one of those next time. But I love how this light waffle was filled with OREO cookie bits in the batter. There was a sufficient amount of cookie crumbles on top, and the milk drizzle added a welcomed hint of sticky sweetness. That vanilla ice cream complemented the dessert perfectly; the warm waffle paired really well with it. It was truly like enjoying milk and cookies but in waffle form. «Pressed Churro»: This was the other dessert I was contemplating ordering, but I decided to save it for another visit. This treat features a sugar coated churro waffle with vanilla ice cream and your choice of Nutella or maple leche dipper. Knowing me and my affinity for hazelnut, I would probably go with Nutella. But I’m really curious to see how that churro waffle tastes. I like churros in their traditional form, and I’m sure this one is every bit as sugary and cinnamony as I’m anticipating. «Wookie»: Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite, so I did have some regret about not getting this dessert. But I know there will be a next time! This dessert features a chocolate chip or seasonal cookie and vanilla ice cream with a chocolate drizzle. I would probably ask what the seasonal cookie is, and the only way I wouldn’t get the chocolate chip option is if the seasonal selection were peanut butter. Just from the photos I’ve seen, I can’t wait to try this chocolate treat because the cookie looks like it was pressed and made with a waffle maker … definitely not your traditional chocolate chip cookie!

I’ve always worked at the Packing House but have never tried this place until now! Was in the mood for a beer with some friends so we decided to try this place out. The amount of beer choices is amazing! The whole wall is filled with beer tap handles. They constantly rotate beers so you will always have something different to try. I got to try the Noble Ale Works Irish Red which was really good and refreshing. The workers there are nice and knowledgable of all the beers they have so don’t hesitate to ask question or better yet ask for samples so you don’t have to drink a whole glass of beer you don’t like! Good service, amazing beer selection. Go here.

Ordered the Oreo waffle. It was good for a guilty pleasure. They mix Oreo into the waffle batter and they sprinkle Oreo bits on top. It comes served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The server there was really cool. We talked to him for a little and he was very helpful when I asked for recommendations. He was a funny guy.

WAAAAAFFLES !!! They specialize in waffle sandwiches, waffle breakfasts, waffle desserts, tator tots and waffle fries! They also have ALOT of craft beers on draft which is awesome. All the workers here are very friendly. Emily, our server was cool. They only have bar type seating, but you could totally buy the food and eat somewhere else if you like. FOOD: + Prosciutto + Gruyère Waffle Sandwich $ 10 (Prosciutto, gruyère, mixed greens, tomatoes, and walnut pesto on a herb waffle) I did also add an egg for an extra $ 1. This sandwich was delicious! Everything went so well together. I loved the prosciutto and the walnut pesto sauce. I also got syrup for dipping but I prefer dipping it in the garlic aioli. Highly recommended. + Garlic Parmesan Tator Tots $ 5.50 DELICIOUS!!! The tator tots weren’t overly crispy but it was packing with garlic parmesan flavor! + Hot Mother Clucker $ 12 + Add Waffle Fries $ 2.50 (Buttermilk fried chicken, spicy slaw, buffalo sauce, jalapenos, and dragon lips salsa on a Belgian waffle) Tastes exactly what it sounds like… it was HOT!!! This was my boyfriend’s dish but I took a bite and its good but super spicy. + Are You Cereal? $ 7 (Cap’n Crunch infused waffle with condensed milk and vanilla ice cream) Not for the weak hearted and diabetes type of person. The waffle is always fluffy. Condensed milk was a great touch. The captain crunch is always great. Everything was absolutely delicious but very sugary! Overall, everything was delicious. Left with a waffle food coma. The end.

Recommended by the dude at Anaheim Brewery. The selection is one of the lamest i’ve seen in a while, i expected better from a stall within such hipster establishment. Sat 7÷11÷15: No red ales No amber ales No porters One pils? A couple of the handles were missing and one not clearly labeled. What is that over there? I don’t want to ask that question when I’m so thirsty. I thought it was all about crafts. They had a BUNCH from Lagunitas brewery which doesn’t really translate into variety now does it? Had to make peace with Lagunitas Czech Style(good) and my friend got the watermelon beer(gross). Good temperature. About $ 7 each. Kitchen closes much earlier than bar so plan accordingly. I would not come back with bar in mind.

This little joint is located inside of the Anaheim packing house. It features a bar powered by tap-beers as well as outdoor seating on the patio. «To-go» orders can be placed at the bar. The food was good and service was good. We ordered the waffle monte cristo sandwich and the waffle bacon cheeseburger along with some waffle fries. Both of our orders came with a syrup to be used for a our waffle entrees. I would have rated this place a 5, but I didn’t feel anything wowing about this. Don’t get me wrong the food is great, but it is comparable to the monte cristo at Disneyland, and the bacon cheeseburger at Bruxie. Definitely will be back. (Visited 12:30pm 07/12/2015)

Everything from the food to the staff to the environment was absolutely amazing here. The IPA Irish Nachos are a definite must try! Ordered them with waffle fries and tater tots. The IPA cheese, sauteed cabbage, and bacon mixed so well together making this appetizer extra delicious. Also ordered the Wacon Wurger… never thought I’d be having maple syrup with garlic aioli in my burger. But damn, it was extraordinary. Will be back for their interesting dessert!
