This place fits right in on Muldoon… it’s dilapidated exterior(and interior!) will make you wonder if it’s even open for business at all. Been here a couple of times and it seems like the restaurant is stuck in some kind of time warp. I’m not sure from which decade but Flo’s is definitely in need of an overhaul. The carpets are dreadful and as another Unilocaler mentioned the tables seem excessively sticky. Everything inside is just outdated. The food is honestly very bland and forgettable. I’m not quite sure how they’ve remained open all these years? Faithful locals? Not really sure. As new restaurants come to Muldoon it’s only a matter of time before this place finally closes it’s doors. Skip this place and just go to IHOP down the road lol

Horrible. We had a young waitress who was very kind and tried to be helpful but there was another waitress that made a huge scene with a customer and then was extremely rude to the other waitress and was loud enough about it that the entire restaurant could hear. Then they lost part of our order and when we told them to forget it we could again overhear the owners getting frustrated with our waitress. And after all of that our food was terrible. Half of it was cold and the other half tasted like it came from a box or can. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. And we will never be returning.

I’ve been coming here each day since I’ve found out about it. Breakfast special of 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon along with a side of hash browns and apple juice is all you need. The ladies are nice and very friendly. Whoever had a complaint about the food here, I can’t imagine heat happened.

Came here for breakfast food at 1 pm and it was perfect. The food came lightning fast, we got to seat ourselves, it was the BEST bacon I ever had, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely choose this place over IHOP, Denny’s, etc all the franchise breakfast restaurants. Very impressed!

The food has seriously fallen off with the owners. Patti is the best waitress and is so nice. The food is just ok. The prices stay the same, while the quality is going down. Seriously outdated and in need of a, makeover.

I went there with my family for breakfast and the food was pretty good and the waitress was friendly and attentive. The interior is very old and in need of remodel. The seats were cracked and torn and there were flys circling over the tables. I’d rather get breakfast at Village Inn.

Terrible. There was nothing good to say about Flo’s. I was very disappointed as they’re parking lot is always full. We went and had family brunch one Sunday. The décor was leftover from the 60’s. Tables were sticky. Carpet was filthy. The food was tasteless. Never go there

My boyfriend and I go to Flo’s almost every weekend. It is very laid back and«homey». Everything about it leaves you with a very warm feeling. The waitresses call you sweetheart, the coffee is kept topped off, food comes out in decent timing. We usually go for breakfast and get the same thing because that’s just what we like. We get the Ultimate breakfast(bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and sourdough toast) everything is always perfect! We got lunch once(I got the club and he got a burger) and they were fresh and made with love. Good portions and reasonable prices!

This is a great place! I went around 9AM and it was almost empty which was great for us! The coffee is good. The service is good. And the food is amazing! It’s also cheaper than most places. This will be my breakfast go-to from now on!

The décor is dreary and outdated. The servers seem to be more interested in their own social life then to actually serve a person something to eat. When we finally got our food it was cold bland and disgusting. You are not allowed to share plates according to them. Definitely not someplace I’m never eating ever again. Dishes were slightly dirty when we were giving them. It was just dreadful in every sense.

The food was good and coffee was delicious! Our waitress was nice and realized there was a minor mistake and she fixed it. We are in town for just a few days and wanted to try another local restaurant. We were not disappointed. I do believe they could clean up the place a bit which is why I ranked it 3 stars.

I love this place. Great skillets. Great jam. Great OJ. Great service(ask to sit in Lisa’s section, she’s a doll). This hole in the wall is overall one of my favorite breakfast spots.

Lisa was a great waitress and looked like the only one working or helping customers. The eggs were perfect but the home fries were way overcooked. This place is old school and looks it but overall not bad enough to keep me from coming back from time to time.

This is not a chain restaurant. Good food for a good price(relative to Anchorage). We have a regular waitress who takes care of us very well every Friday for breakfast. If you want impersonal service, do not eat here. Our waitress is not afraid to give us a hard time and she can take it as well.

Great customer service. Food was ok. Prices a little steep if you compare to IHOP. No military discount. Ordered the sourdough pancakes but was gummy. Portion of country fried steak seemed frozen and not fresh. Will not return. Needs an update. Felt dingy.

Flo’s is a very good down-home kinda breakfast and lunch restaurant. A couple of us had a very nice late morning breakfast special with two eggs, bacon, and two pancakes. Attentive service kept our coffee cups full. No fuss and no drama; we enjoyed our meal.

Ordered the eggs with reindeer sausage, home fries, and sourdough toast. Everything was pretty bland, including the coffee, and the home fries were crunchy from being over-cooked. I’d rather eat at an IHop.

OK, I have seen this place for several weeks now and finally decided to give it a try. I went there for a late breakfast, the parking, well there wasnt any left so we parked on the edge of the street. Expecting the place to be crowded but lots of empty tables and bar seats. We had pretty fast service and ordered right away. However that was all that was fast, we waited about 15 mins for eggs, waffle. My hot water for tea was at best luke warm, no steam! I asked for another hot water, same results. Well, prices were OK, meal was OK except warm water for my wanting of hot tea. Might try their lunch menu. FOLLOW-UP…Went back for late breakfast, early lunch on a Sunday. Service was still frenzy, lack luster… food still OK, nothing special… biggest complaint is frenzy service, always in a rush and not really willing to stop and answer questions about their meal selections on the menu. OKPLACE if nearby, but be aware of service expectations…

My sweetheart and I usually go here for breakfast and it is always good. He orders a skillet and I usually opt for an omelet or a french toast combo. Great service, great food. Good portions. Nice atmosphere of a variety of people– military, older & younger couples, families, all types. The staff is very friendly and efficient and its always busy on the weekends. Dont be surprised if you have a hard time finding parking. That’s a good sign :) Highly recommended!
