Great location! However, it’s over 100 degrees and the AC doesn’t quite cut it. I understand kids aren’t allowed after 10 and perhaps I should have waited, their presence was definitely prominent in my visit today! Also, add a few extra bartenders on holidays because 2 for over 100 patrons is definitely not enough. Waitress who attended our table was fantastic but other employees who helped us out seemed to have an attitude. No condiments or silverware! Get on top of your bus boys! Lastly, no drinks in the bathroom? And leaving drinks on a table? That seems like a date rape waiting to happen. Please re-evaluate your policies… I’ll be back to check the progress!

Rating des Ortes: 3 Arcadia, CA
I’ve been here a couple times and it’s a decent option, especially because there’s nothing to do in Arcadia. If you’re down for a place to chill and hang out and you don’t want to make the drive to downtown, Pasadena, or the west side, this is your spot. Came here on a Friday night because the gf wanted to do something after dinner and I didn’t want to drive far. Wasn’t as busy because it’s EDC weekend. The upstairs lounge was pretty cool(great to get a drink with a date, hang out with friends, and also has a decent pickup scene). The establishment is trying its best to make this a night life party area, which is great because that kind of stuff is nonexistent in the SGV. They really pump the music up loud in here. There’s a decent collection of arcade games, but it’s way overpriced. Went through my $ 12 worth of chips in about 20 minutes between the two of us(and we were walking around browsing a lot of the time). I think they have half off games on Wednesday nights, so that would be the best time to come here if you really have an arcade game addiction. Anyways, this is a decent bar to watch a game or meet up with Arcadia folks because of the location. But it always reminds me of the lack of nightlife options(that don’t involve food) in the SGV and has me thinking about moving out of here.

I only went to this place because my mom wanted to play the games. We first sat down at a booth and waited for awhile. When we went to order at the bar, another server, not ours, said he would come by and take our orders. Right after he took our orders, our server Brittany came by and greeted us and asked for our credit card to «keep the tab open.» That was odd. We had been there before and no one had ever asked us that. Interesting. After that, we saw her deliver two of our drinks and she was gone. We could not find her for awhile. When I did see her I waved her off, in which she still waited longer to come over to our table. I told her to cancel the dessert and bring our check and if she still had our card. I really didn’t feel comfortable with someone I do not know carrying our card around all night. Brittany had no sincerity in seeing how we were upset with her lack of service and just said she has a lot of tables. Not an excuse. She dropped off the charged bill and said something disingenuous and left quickly. Dumb move. I always tip 20% for moderate service and better for great service. She received no tip! I spoke with the manager and he apologized and smiled, but really showed no empathy for how we were treated. I will not be back.

One of the finest Dave & Busters I have ever been to. Except the obviously improperly trained servers. If you can’t do your job correctly, at least be apologetic for your mistakes. Why are they so stuck up? Be humble. But to my server, thanks for your service. No tip for you though!

Experienced the slowest service here. We sat down waited for 30 minutes for a waiter to even come up to us and take our drink orders. Then forgot our drinks and our food was cold. We spoke to a manager and he was completely rude and did nothing to make our experience better. Very unprofessional here, I have been here for a total of 2 hours just sitting waiting to be serviced.

Our family loves coming to play games here. We have been for years. However, literally, Everytime we eat here, we wait at least 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and another 45 to an hour for the food. Refills? Forget it. That would require the server coming back to the table at some point. I wish there were some type of quality control or training for their customer service. So sad and frustrating. We’re loyal to the place regardless of this horrible service. Trapped.

DONOTCOMEHEREFORDRINKS, DRINKING, ALCOHOL, ORANYTHINGEVENREMOTELYRELATEDTOTHEBAR. Came here with some friends for happy hour and to watch a very important sports game. The bar has lots of TVs, which was awesome. So much sports, more than almost any other place and even most sports bars. Happy hour prices were really good, I think $ 2.50 for a domestic pint, $ 1 off other beers, good cocktail prices. Beer selection is terrible. They have the most generic tap list I’ve ever seen, nothing except for mega brewery choices and fake craft beers. I rarely whine about beer offerings, but there wasn’t a single craft beer and the only one that might have been interesting, a Guinness IPA, was tapped out. I think I would have actually preferred if they just served Budweiser and PBR, dive bar style, because having given up on your beer selection seems less depressing than trying but failing so utterly and miserably. Service was slow. Then it was comically slow. Then it transitioned to unbelievably slow, depressingly slow, shoot-me-now slow, and ended with oh-god-just-bring-me-the-check-I-wanted-to-leave-an-hour-ago slow. It took between 30 and 60 minutes to get anything. Food from the kitchen is almost understandable because it needs to be cooked(I hope), but it took a freaking hour for 1 beer to come out. I timed it. Over 60 minutes to pour 16 ounces of liquid and deliver it 12 feet away. I tried to order 2 beers but they don’t allow that for some god forsaken reason. Every amusement park, festival, fair, outdoor venue, etc. Has a policy of up to 2 drinks per person, I don’t know why this place doesn’t allow it. Maybe it’s a restaurant thing, maybe they have stupid corporate rules, but basically you can’t even mitigate the terrible service. At some point, the waitress started avoiding us. We saw her puttering around the waitress station, talking and standing. I mostly don’t blame her since she can’t keep telling us «we’re so backed up!» every 5 minutes because it gets old after 10 times, but it would have been nice to come by every 20 minutes or so. The 6 empty water glasses would have liked refilling. Unless whoever fills the pitchers was backed up too. The bartender wasn’t a bartender, that certainly didn’t help. I think she was a waitress or shift manager who stepped in to try and help. Kept spilling drinks(once on a customer’s phone!) and all kinds of good things that was not helping the situation. Anyway, I’m not blaming the staff, they were trying hard but were just swamped. I’m blaming whatever genius pretends to manage this place. If you’re thinking of coming here for drinks, food, or the bar or restaurant, STAYAWAY. Go somewhere else. It’s not worth it. Please, think of your children. They’ll grow old and grey before you even get home. On the plus side? They don’t have bouncers with metal detectors at the doors anymore, so I guess there’s less risk of getting shanked these days. The gang bangers must have all died of thirst.

TERRIBLE! Never go to this restaurant. No respect. 1. Waited 30 minutes to get greeted 2. Another 30 to get food 3. Haven’t seen waiter in about an hour and a half At this point we could’ve just left the place but instead we wanted to let the server know what a horrific job she has done. We have no idea who the server is because she never greeted us properly. Manager spoke down to us. NEVERGOHERE.

Horrible customer service! My son was excited to pick out a batman watch displayed for 1600 tickets. When we arrived at the cash register, we were saddened to find out we needed 4000 tickets to get this item. The batman watch was tagged incorrectly and the manager did not honor it. Items are not tagged correctly. This will be our last time visiting this location.

Well, this is my first time at Dave and busters. I wanted to go there because of claw machines but they only got a giant claw machine, mini claw machine and the trap door. First of, I live around Hollywood, and was supposed to go to the one closer to us, but it is memorial day, everybody and their mama is in Hollywood, big NO! So my bf and I decided to go to a much farther place which is this location since he said he had been there once. We proceeded to eat first, the food was okay. Not terrible and not great. But okay. And we did that to get some game credits. After dinner we proceeded to play the arcade games. And of course as soon as I saw the crane games I was disappointed since it was just the 3 that I mentioned. The trap door game was awesome cause my bf won me a lot of prices. Like A LOT! And they’re plushies were decent and we got some licensed ones. The giant claw machine, ugh. The claw Was so loose. And tried a couple of times. But with luck I got 2 prices. A ball and a Tweety bird. The small claw machines had crappy toys. 3 stars because when my bf had been winning the trap door it had errored and then it was difficult to get plushies. And some of the games were either broken or just kept on getting credits from us like crazy. We got the $ 56 each. But I guess we get our moneys worth. Overall I would go to a Dave and busters again but not at this location and would not spend that much money lol. But this is a cool place to hangout if you want to drink and you have money to spare.

I know it’s a sport bar so it’s supposed to be loud but sitting at the bar and have to find myself SCREAMING to call the attention of the bartender to get a drink or my bill??? That was a little bit too much. And then my credit card got mixed with someone else, REDFLAG people.

First time here and my last! Attention management your servers are killing you! My family and I came on Sunday May 22, 2016 around 4pm. Walking in was great, those working the entrance were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Went to arcade area found a table and that’s when your employees failed. There where 3 young ladies working that area and all of them were rude. Not one ever came to our table. We would flag them asking if we could order, each one would answer, «wait I’ll be back!» NOT one ever came back! 30 minutes later our friends had joined us at the table and they too tried getting the servers attention so we could order food and drinks. They were told to wait. After realizing we were not going to be served by them or asked if we need anything my husband went to the front bar and ordered all our drinks and food there. Shout out to the bartender that day because my Husband said you were great in helping him with our food and drink orders. We felt completely disrespected by these young ladies as if we were not good enough to be served my them. They would just pass by us rolling their eyes and being very rude. Not OK! We only ordered appetizers because trying to order anything else would just be a waste of THEIR time! Finished our ONE drink. As we are getting ready to leave a server by the name of Lee showed up. He presented himself to us saying he will be working the area and if he could get us anything else since he saw of empty drinks. I told him WOW you are the first person to come up to us this whole entire time we have been here. The 3 current lady servers have been completely rude to us never once doing what he just did. Expect put their hands up to tell us to wait. He said he was sorry for that and he would be more than happy to place our food or drink order. I told him sorry I wish you would have been here sooner or we should have shown up later but with the rudeness of these 3 girls we had enough and made dinner reservations else where thank you. He understood and again apologized for them. I wanted to give no stars but the front desk employees and Lee is what earned you 1 star because no one should ever be treated like we were by those servers.

Had the absolute worst customer service EVER last night, it was Sunday and my girl wanted to go play some games at D&B. I normally stay away from this place because of the bad food but decided to cave in, we were seated and quickly helped by a bartender who took our food order and drink order. Everything was running smoothly until he left the bar area to go else where… I waited for TWENTYMINUTES to get a refill on a drink, I also asked the bartender(chubbier guy who likes to toss the bottles/cups in the air like he’s really a mixologist at some hipster place in down town) for a Coke because I was driving… he never brought my Coke and I felt like a moron waiting for another bartender to help. I can’t believe I basically had to hunt down a bartender to give me a drink, the only reason for the two stars is the food was okay. The entire time I was there(over an hour and a half) I was helped three times, terrible

How have I not written a review for this place? LOL. Okay so where do I start — been coming here forever but barely started eating here. The food is OKAY, better then I thought it would be. They also have this deal where there’s a certain menu you can order from & it’ll come with a $ 10 gameplay card — which is pretty neat. Prices on food are okay, I don’t think its too bad. I didn’t know that on weekends(at night) they have metal detectors, high levels of security & that you have to be 21+(unless you’re with a guardian that’s 25+) .I’m guessing some stuff went down recently that’s why? PLUS there’s a freaking COVERCHARGE after a certain time on weekends. LOLLIKEATCLUBS/BARS. WUT. Staff members here are honestly a hit or miss. The whole section that was suppose to be covering the dinning area were annoying. We legit could not find them for anything & when we did find 1, they would be like«Oh let me find your server». It took us over 10 minutes to ask for a refill. It wasn’t crowded at all — there were workers just standing around at the entrance table.

Located in the Santa Anita mall right across the movie theater. A great place to go kill time or have a large party. They have food, pool tables, a bar, games, TV’s, and prizes to win. The food is American style and it just soso. Service is good and attentive. Security is good. D&B is big and it never gets overly crowded. Eat and play. The best is the Power card. It cost $ 10 for 1 hour of free play. This does not include ticketed games. Most of D&B games are ticketed but you have racing and shooting games that can take the card. Wednesday has half-off game play, which is always another option. The prizes have improved. I see expensive items in the display cases. However, they cost a ton of tickets. Good luck with that.

They’re constantly trying to improve D&B. The upstairs bar is now open, Sky Lounge. I’ve been here on the weekends so I’m not sure if it’s open during the week. What’s upstairs? A bar, lounge area and live music.(Band or DJ). When it’s 9pm during the weekend you have to go trough a metal detector and after 10pm cover is $ 3. They really are trying to make this place like a party. There’s a DJ above the kiosk for recharging your play card.

Good food + arcade. Being my first time in any D&Bs, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. What I did find was good food, great atmosphere, state-of-the-art arcade, nice bar, and very friendly staff. My only gripe about the restaurant side was the smaller than advertised portions. Other than that, the food was wonderful, especially the ribs which I think are the best I’ve ever tasted in any SoCal restaurant. Our server was a young, friendly lady who attended to our every need. Excellent service! Overall, it’s a friendly place and the food is definitely good. Will return.

I love that this is a place for both adults, teens, and children. Children and teens have the opportunity to spend their parent’s money and play games to win tickets. And parents can drink at the bar. Go-to place to watch football games. Staff are kind and can change your TV if you want to watch a specific game.

i have been so addicted to this D&B lately! I come here with another D&B enthusiast and the last time we spent the whole afternoon here from 4 to 9pm playing(and ROCKING) the games, winning thousands of tickets, being goofy at kid games, racing, and shooting guns. This place really has it all and it is such a great environment for both kids, teens, and adults. Come here for Half Off Wednesdays for the best deals! in addition, the drink menu here is extremely extensive where you can literally come here, buy two drinks each time, and would still not have tried all of them after a few months. I love their sweet tea drinks and if you get the TNT one, you get a really cool souvenir glass! Their food is good and their menu is also extensive where you can either satisfy your typical arcade munchies like a mountain(and really a mountain) of nachos or wings and calamari or more sit-down restaurant foods like steaks and pastas. What I love about the food menu at D&B are their wacky but cravings-satisfying entrees like the steak with shrimp and lobster alfredo pasta I ordered. Also ordered the teriyaki steak which was too drenched in sauce for my opinion and thus was on the saltier side. For dessert, had the chocolate donut holes which were the perfect bite size gooey desserts complete with their own chocolate sauces :) My one complaint about the food here would be the lack of servers in certain areas of the arcade so service can be slow and food takes a significantly longer time to come out.
