This Arcadia location deserve a Zero star. Store manager name Natalia Vasquez has the worse customer service ever. Not friendly at all. Gymboree store policy says that I can return with my original receipt within 60 days of purchase, so what’s the problem???

Please read this review!!! The one star is for the salesperson called Natalia!!! We do love Gymboree, but I don’t know if I will return to the store anymore! Natalia is a Very very mean salesperson from the beginning when I first met her at the store early this week! Please watch out for Her and avoid her at all cost! I just got my clothes yesterday and today! I feel so bad that I just found the 20% off coupon in my email today! The coupon is going to expires on Oct 12, 2015! It is not a brand new coupon that just came out! The email told me «Don’t forget to use my coupon which I got in the mail» I told Natalia about it. I want to refund the clothes and buy them again!!! She said«No» She will not allow me to buy them again! OMG!!! I never heard of this!!! They are not final sales!!! They are mostly new arrivals!!! Not final sales!!! Again… She said. Once I return them, I can not buy them again!!! What??? I didnt make a big deal and I just left the store without returning the clothes!

Worst experience ever!!! I went to the store to return something purchased online. They were $ 85 worth of clothes and shoes ordered by my Dad but they arrived very slow and when they finally arrived, we’ve got some new clothing for my baby. Based on their return policy, anything purchased within 60 days can be returned either in store or sent back to sender. Since we live close to this store, we want to return them here to save the shipping fee(non-refundable). The first time I went to the store, after waiting 20 minutes in line holding the original box with clothes inside, the clerk told me their system cannot accept online returns at that time and suggest me to check back after 3 days. I went back on the next weekend and give them my invoice, the clerk Estiana asked me for the return label at the bottom of the receipt. I thought I lost that in the beginning and then she said she cannot take the returns. Accoridng to my knowledge, return label is normally for the convenience of processing and shows the barcdoe of receipt # or other # which should be printed on the receipt. But she insisted that the barcode # cannot be found anywhere else and she cannot use my order confirmation or invoice. She said the only way is to return it to sender and she assured that there will be no shipping charge. and even no need to stick any shipping label. I was so upset and asked her to help me check whether I can surely get back my money if I return the clothes like that in the box. When she examines the clothes, she found the return label so she took it out, taped my invoice and return label to the box, cross out original bacode on the box and wrote«RETURNSENDER» after taping the box. In the beginning, I thought she wanted to send it back to their distributor and refund me. But then to my surprise, she gave the box back to me and asked me to drop it at a UPS store. How come she did not even offer or ask me if I still want to do the return when she saw the label she wanted!I told her I still want the refund now. After negontiation, she finally agrees to open the box and do the return in store. Then she found two clothes without tags, I told her they were never worn or washed but we really got too many extra clothes and we don’t need them anymore. She told me they do not accept anything wihout tags and if I insist on returning, I can try put them back to the box and return to sender… I was so angry so when I got back home I called their customer sercie 877−449−6932. Their representative told me the store has no reason to refuse anything that’s new. And they said if I want, they can email me a shipping label to print out for return. What??? I told her at the store, the clerk said I can just return the box without shipping lable and I will not be charged. She said that is not the case, normally the customer need to pay return shipping and if I do not pay beforehand, it will be deducted from my refund. I even find out the two number on the return label requested by the clerk, one is the transaction # which is on the invoice/receipt, the other one is the return # which was crossed out by Estiana with a black marker marker on the original shipping label. Their customer service asked me whether still want to return them to store and I said yes. So she got my number and said the store manager would call back, confirm with me and apologize. I’m not sure whether I missed their call but I did not hear anything. On the their weekend I went, Estiana said the same thing. I asked to speak with their manager but she said she is the manager on duty!!! We have to call their customer service again and have them to speak. In the end, she agrees to refund me the $ 16 for two clothes… I am so sad to see Gymboree acting like this. They are among the first foreign baby clothes brand expanding in China and by far the most popular one. This is my first time shopping their clothes in the US but it is definitely the worst experience. After reading their reviews on Unilocal and Facebook, I can see not only this store, but they have serious customer service or management problems at a lot of other stores too. While there are so many reliable baby clothing brands to choose from in the US, I think I will never shop at Gymboree again.

I have never been in a Gymboree store before and I will definitely not be going back to this store! The staff is slow, rude and not knowledgeable at all. I stood in line for 20min(only 3 people ahead of me) to return a gift. They never made any eye contact. The associate asked me why I was returning. I said I didnt like it. Then she made eyes at the other employee and they were making comments back and forth. Also while waiting in line only one associate was checking people out the other was too busy taking socks out of a box to stop and help. I returned my gift and planned on spending the credit and then some but the selection was minimal and a mess. I then asked the lazy sock employee if she knew when they would be getting in their warmer clothes(my baby is due in Oct). She looked at me like I was stupid and said«you mean winter clothes???» I said yes whatever just not sun dresses and rompers. She said um I dont know… maybe September. I walked out empty handed and annoyed!

I was looking for some clothing for my nieces and shopping here was a bit cumbersome. I know that stores like this can’t be perfect, but there’s a limit to how much can be tolerated. Well, I wasn’t expecting much from this store, but I thought the entire experience could have been better. Upon entering, the store, everything is pretty organized until you get towards the back. It just becomes a huge mess especially in the sale section. Nothing was in order and things were just all over the place. Aside from the mess, it was weird entering the store because they didn’t have any music or anything playing. It was just quiet inside, which made the inside a bit more lifeless than it should’ve been. There were about three customers inside and one associate on the floor. I’m not sure if he was the only one scheduled or if the others were on break or in the back. There was no acknowledgement when I came in, which was fine by me. However, in comparison with other stores I went into such as The Children’s Place, the associated were quick to ask me if I needed help and if I needed help finding anything. I’m not sure if it’s because the associate was working alone or if he was just too focused on folding the clothes at the register. Anyway, I got my items and was checked out. The sales associate was a tad more friendly, but I just wanted to get my stuff and go. I don’t think I’d come here again unless I absolutely had to. I’d rather go to several other stores rather than this location. Well, at least I a decent deal on my items… so I guess that’s good.

Cute baby stuff. Sometimes a lil too much design in my opinion. The workers are a bit lazy here in my opinion. They’re supposed to help you check inventory if they don’t have it at their location but they rarely offer it. You have to ASK for it. Versus the one on Lake, they always offer whenever they can’t find the item you’re looking for. Like the previous reviewer has mentioned, this location is much bigger than the pasadena store. However, it seems more people shop here bc whenever they run out of something, they always end up having it at the other location.

This is a decent Gymboree store. I like their clothes for babies. Cute stuff and well made. The store in Pasadena is tiny, tiny so I prefer this one. But take my word for it, it’s better to just go to .
