I’ve been going to this place for years now, and I decided that I should finally write a review. This restaurant has to be one of the top cajun restaurants in Arlington, and since it’s family owned, it just makes it that much better! Service is always nice and fast, and the owner is a very sweet lady. The atmosphere is very New Orleans-esque, with all the pictures hanging on the wall and the jazzy music that they have playing. Now for the food. The crawfish is absolutely amazing! The way they season it makes it tasty and spicy! You have an option of mild, medium, or spicy, with flavors of original lousiana flavor, lemon pepper, or garlic butter. I’ve tried all three flavors, and I have to admit, I love them all! The fried rice is delicious and not too oily like one would expect, and the secret sauce that they provide for the crawfish/rice makes it all more better. I would definitely reccommend this to someone who loves eating cajun food!

Went in for some good spicy Cajun on a cold night and boy, was I happy I did! My friend and I ordered po’ boy sandwiches and were very pleased with our orders! The fried shrimp was PLENTIFUL covering the entire basket and even hiding my Cajun fries! I really wanted sweet potato fries, but apparently getting the«upgrade» would cost me an extra 2 clams :(Not a problem as the whole sandwich and fry basket was only $ 7.49! I wish my sandwich had a bit more sauce as the thick french bread and fried shrimp needed some saucyness to break up the dryness. My friend’s chicken po’ boy was even better! The chicken was perfectly moist and was breast filet style! Again, packed with meat overflowing over the sandwich and fries! We both shamelessly cleaned off our baskets leaving nothing behind! :) Our waiter was really nice, too and didn’t rush us despite us lingering past closing. Oops. The convo was really good! Will be back! Totally worth having my peacoat and hair smell like crawfish: P

One of my favorite Cajun places! It’s close! It’s never too crowded! And the taste is just amazing! Every now and then when I get in the crawfish craving I come here order a pound and leave. But one day I wanted to test how much I could eat in once sitting. I found that to be 5lbs! Mmm soo good! The seasoning really sticks onto the seafood and I don’t think the price is that bad. I’ve eatin here during crawfish season and when it wasn’t in season. They tend to have specials so watch for those! The severs are good and the bathroom isn’t bad.

I would most definitely say Cajun Corner is better than Razoos– the taste of the food, and most definitely the price! I could order like 4 menu items and still pay less than Razoos! The flavor they mix with their food is so delicious. I introduced my friend here the last time I went and she kept trying to go back the next day, but I like variety in my life so she went alone. The fries are so delicious you don’t even need ketchup, the portion may look small but I eat a lot and have gotten full every time to the point I couldn’t even finish the rest of my meal, but it’s not enough to take home lol. The service fluctuates. I feel as if they change the way they operate every couple of months or so. The second to last time I went I want to say there was only 1 person working and I was used to seating then being served a menu, and being checked on every ten minutes or so. But not this time, that time almost made it my last time. The person at the register was rude, I was so close to reporting him. I decided to order to-go and a man who was previously in front of me who had ordered and I thought had left came back in minutes later I guess to order something else, and the server was about to skip over me to help him if I didn’t say anything! I gave him the rudest look and let him know I was not too happy with his poor decision. I try to understand people and put myself in their shoes because he was most likely the only server there. The only reason I went this last time was because my friend wanted Cajun food but did not want to pay the Cajun price, so I recommended Cajun Corner and it’s also 2 seconds from where we live. There was a new waiter whom I’ve never seen before and he made up for the last waiter, this one was really sweet and extremely attentive. The place is not small but tables are somewhat close together, they always have movies playing or the news. It could get busy but the wait is not even over 10 – 15 minutes. In all I would definitely recommend Cajun Corner, great prices, random great service and best of all great food!

Hooray, Cajun Corner! My friend’s mom owns this restaurant, but this won’t be a biased review. She’s Vietnamese, so that’s why they also serve Vietnamese dishes here as well. Best of both worlds, right? ;D Their cajun pasta is THE. BEST. THING. EVER. It’s impossible to be disappointed in this. I’m telling ya. Order the pasta with crawfish. It’s everything you will ever need in life. Just kidding, but it comes close. If you can’t handle spicy foods like me, this pasta is spicy even when you get the lowest level of spice but it’s soooo worth the burn in your mouth hahaha. Make sure you have a tall glass of water next to you. You’ll need it. Their other pasta is the cajun fettuccine and that’s delicious as well. The noodles used are longer, unlike the short rotini pasta(which is swirly) used in the cajun pasta and this dish comes with cuts of sausages. For the cajun pasta plate, you will receive their yummy garlic bread, crisp on the outside and extremely soft, fluffy, buttery, garlicy, golden middle. Cajun fettuccine has a plain, crunchy white bread. Smother either one with the cajun mayo or alfredo sauce spread on your plate for extra flavor. Their crawfish is pretty good. Nothing compared to Boiling Crab, but I’m not complaining. Especially when it’s closer in proximity. Since eating crawfish gets your hands messy, bring your own gloves if you can. They charge $ 0.50 cents per pair of gloves and they look pretty thin so it might rip easily if you’re not a graceful person lol. Service is consistently great. There’s tons of stuff to look at on their walls. I really want one of their Mardi Gras masks. All in all… I like, I like. You go, Cajun Corner :)

You will get a taste of New Orleans here. Louisiana /Mardi Gras themed and jazzy. Music was playing and the lighting is just right.

I came one day and it was semi packed(restaurant is super small) I understand how it is when you’re busy and there’s really only 2 «server» there. But I don’t understand how it takes over 10 minutes to just get water. When the kitchen is right next to my table. Moving on to the food, it also took forever. I think it was probably due to the fact that they had a lot of to-gos. the fried platter basket came out before the crawfish, it says that it comes with fries + salad. Cajun fries was good, salad not so much. It was like a small handful of lettuce and what not, I didn’t even touch it. I was thinking it would come in its own bowl separately. The fried catfish was good though. Crawfish was 7.99 $ a lb, I’m not sure when crawfish season ends, but it sure tasted like it did already? Would’ve liked it if the server had asked what style we wanted instead of assuming we just wanted the garlic butter :(Usually I like mine with Lemmon pepper too(There’s garlic butter-Lemmon pepper– & Louisiana flavor) There were barely any guts in the crawfish, a lot of the insides were dark, but at least they were decent sized. Overall, the garlic butter flavor was decent with few garlic chunks here and there, but the crawfish did not satisfy my cravings!!! I came craving for crawfish and when I left I still wanted more. I don’t know how to explain it. But meh! I would really rate this place 2.5 stars

Didn’t eat any food but looked and smelled amazing. We bought a sack of live crawfish. They were a good size, clean and a fair price. The staff was very friendly and I can’t wait to come back and eat here.

With a family from Louisiana, my expectations were high. They pretty much met them. Crawfish Cajun pasta was delicious! Also, the catfish was just the way I like it… crunch outside and juicy inside. The Peel and eat crawfish were a little too lemon flavored for my taste but still decent. Overall, a great place for some Cajun food and BYOB is a plus.

Never been here before so when we came in we didn’t know what to do. Saw a line forming at the cash register so we thought you order there first and then pay afterwards. Came in 30 min before closing and it was super packed. My boyfriend saw a table open so he went ahead and saved it to find out that it’s self seated and they bring the menus to you. Our waitress was kind enough to explain how things work without us even asking because we looked so clueless. After taking our orders our waitress and a waiter that came over to check to see if we were taken care of, both of them have seem to forgotten about us. Maybe it’s because we were in a corner but that doesn’t give them a reason to because they were catering to the table next to ours and didn’t bother to look over. Bad service tonight but the crawfish and Cajun fries were good. I saw the sign they had right at the door when you walk in saying crawfish is $ 7.99 per lb on regular days and there’s a Wednesday special for $ 6.49 The place looks small when it’s packed and it gets very noisy. Especially when you have kids who get really whinny and my goodness that’s all you hear. So parents if you plan on bringing your kids please try to comfort them and calm them down.

How is this a CAJUN place when you need 2 add salt, pepper & Hot sauce 2 get any kinda taste out of it. I had to add a ton of salt to the fried okra. It was fried pretty, but that was it. The«catfish» was a complete imposter. It’s cousin«swai» came in its place. Oysters were bland as well & looked as if they were dough balls. Best thing they had was the semi garlic bread. Don’t waste your money here…

Food here is awesome, but the service is lacking. Food comes out hot and fresh, prices are reasonable. I had crawfish, my husband had fried catfish and shrimp. Some of the best we’ve had in the area. However, we went at lunch, they took our order, dropped it off and that was it as far as service was concerned. No drink refills or checking in to see if we needed anything. You pay at the counter when your finished. We will be back to this place for sure, but for the food and not the service. Want to try some of the étouffée and gumbo on our next trip, a little disappointed they do not have Po Boy sandwiches.

Ridiculously small crawfish during crawfish season. I was very disappointed in the quality of this place the second time I went. The first time was wonderful and everything was so good. The shrimp, sweet potatoes and crawfish. I thought I had found my spot but then the second time I went it was tragic! Soggy sweet potatoes and small crawfish and it literally took 30 minutes for the food to come out! Never wasting my time here again! Go to joes Cajun corner!!!

During Crawfish season: $ 8.99/lb buy 5 get the 6th lb free. $ 7.49/lb specials on Wednesday. Although not as good as Boiling Crab, I’d still rather go here and not have a wait than wait for 3 hours at Boiling Crab. Seasoning and menu is almost identical to Joe’s Cajun off Pioneer. I think they used to be owned by the same people but someone bought Joe’s Cajun from them. Get the medium spice for the crawfish. I haven’t tried anything else here, because WHY? when you have delicious boiled crawfish instead? The fries here are good. They’re shoe string fries with cajun seasoning.

I had high hopes with all the great reviews. We went because my husband loves crawfish. He said the crawfish was great– he had the spicy and said it was just perfect. I had a grilled shrimp pasta dish(Shrimp New Orleans I think…) with mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. It was not that good. Edible but I also skipped lunch and was starving so… Service was slow especially considering it was a quiet Tuesday night with only 3 other tables of customers when we were there. My daughter’s kids’ meal never came. She had fried pickles and crawfish from hubby so she was ok but I thought that was quite an oversight. Perhaps we just came on an «off» day. Previous reviews say it’s $ 5.99/lb during the week. It was $ 7.99/lb tonight. Oh and the restaurant is BYOB.

If I can’t get to boiling crab, this is the second best place for crawfish! This is a very small, casual, family owned restaurant. The décor is very New Orleansy and their food definitely can hang. I’ve had a lot of their dishes, from the shrimp poboys, to étouffée, crawfish, and fried catfish. Their shrimp poboys are delicious with a healthy amount of shrimps. The seafood étouffée, my favorite, is great! It is a little soupy as compared to other étouffées that I have but the flavor and ingredients are amazing. My only know is the amount of rice they give you. One large plate of étouffée amounts to 1 small bowl of rice… I always have to order extra rice, which I’m sure costed extra. Crawfish… AMAZING! They use a wet seasoning and spices were just right. Their crawfish, in season or out, is always good! They also run an everyday special of buy 5 lb and get 1 free. Being a crawfish lover, I always take advantage of this deal. They also have an amazing weekday special of buy 2 or more lbs for 5.99 a lb! The only dish I did not like was the fried catfish… To me, the batter is VERY grainy, kinda sand like. I had it once, and have yet to reorder. This is a very small restaurant with great food! Definitely give it a try!
